Hawkkit's Ceremony

Nightstar leaped quickly up onto the Jaggedrock. Her blue eyes looking over the camp before announcing, "let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Hawkkit was the first to appear in the clearing. With his fur groomed and his head held high, he proudly padded toward the jagged rock and sat down. Today he was becoming an apprentice! He could barely keep in his excitement. His eyes shined as he turned his gaze toward nightstar and waited for her to continue.

Lionstrike watched the kit from beneathvthe Jagged Rock. Another apprentice. Sure, he already had one apprentice, but he didn't really mind another.

Nightstar looked down at the kitten, finalizing her choice of mentor. Giving the cat a glance before turning back to the kit. "Hawkkit please step up."

Trying to calm his excitement and look serious, Hawkkit stepped forward.

I would so love an apprentice for Maple, but of course we have to wait until this super long gathering is over ;-;

Maplepaw stared from the shadows, noting a kit was about to become an apprentice. She wished her warrior ceremony would hurry up and come. She wanted an apprentice of her own...

No hard feelings ;A;

OOC: I can have one.

IC: Snowfall padded out of her den. "Oh good. Another apprentice. Maybe I'll be her mentor." She looked around and saw everyone start coming out of their dens.

~But I want one too. Silver's not active. I'd like an active apprentice :c~

Ic: Redpaw sat down by his sister, Maplepaw. He watched the ceremony with a blank expression. He wondered what it was like to have an apprentice. He knew that he'd have to train her or him to be the best warrior he/she could possibly be. But was that really a challenge? Perhaps it depended on the cat...He'd want an apprentice like Soulpaw when he was a warrior. Soulpaw was his best friend, and was the only cat aside from his own sibling that he found tolerable back when he was younger.

OOC: yes but you can have two apprentices at once. Shadow does and many others.

IC: Snowfall saw Redpaw and smiled. "Hello Redpaw."

"Hawkkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Hawkpaw. Your mentor will be Shadeflame. I hope Shadeflame will pass down all he/she knows on to you."

Nightstar then leaped to the ground, signaling that the meeting was over.

Hawkpaw hopped away from the jagged rock with pride in his eyes. He was an apprentice! Padding over to the apprentice den he sat down.
