Silkkit's and Ravenkit's Apprentice Ceremonies

Raccoonstar jumped up onto the Tall rock, and let out the call to summon the clan. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Tall rock for a clan meeting."

Ravenkit ran up to the high rock, sitting kinda far away. She licked her sleek black pelt off and she shined.

Minteyes moved out of the nursery and sat where she could see what was happening. "Breezekit, Applekit, Eaglekit come out here and watch." She urged her offspring to join her.

Breezekit heard his mother's voice and scurried out and slid to a stop beside her. "What's happening mother?"

Eaglekit padded quietly out of the nursery, his movements dulled by tiredness. "Is someone becoming an apprentice?" he mumbled as he reached his mother and brother, rubbing a tiny paw over his eyes. Couldn't they have waited until later to do this?
