Brotherly Love

Duckpaw sat in the sun, rolling onto his back to let his belly fur enjoy the green-leaf warmth. He watched as Morningfur walked into camp, Lichenpaw trailing. They talked, then Morningfur ducked into her den and Lichenpaw remained there. Standing, Duckpaw stood. Grabbing a trout off the pile, he walked over and settled next to his brother. "You look hungry; you should eat. And we never get to talk anymore." he said, a purr rumbling in his throat.
