A Strange Bad Mood.

Honeypaw sat in the middle of the ThunderClan camp, her eyes fixed on the trees above as she let out a small sigh. She had been in a bad mood for a while, mostly because she had yet to have any training due to Whitefoot being 'busy.' But perhaps her bad mood almost stemmed from the fact that her sister had yet to become an apprentice, warrior or medicine, she disliked Featherkit staying, well, a kit. She wanted somebody that she could spend time with that she really knew...

Lionstar trudged out of his den, looking around the quiet camp that was Thunderclan's home. "It's gotten silent around here. It worries me sometimes." He muttered to himself, though as his gaze passed over a grumpy Honeypaw, he looked up, his old amber eyes narrowing. Where was Whitefoot? Perhaps he wasn't ready for an apprentice. Do to his aging, Lionstar was struggling to do normal clan activities, even climbing to the Highrock for a meeting was a bit tiring. But, he'd do whatever he could possibly help with until he drops and is forced to move into the elders' den.
"Hey Honeypaw, where's Whitefoot? Busy again?" The large tom asked, padding over. "Have you gotten any training yet?" Not that he was complaining, just a little worried. The young warrior probably had many things to do and simply forgot he had an apprentice, which wasn't a big deal as long as his apprentice got trained.

Honeypaw glanced up, ready to snap at who had dared intruding her loathi-OhStarClanitwasLionstar. She quickly sat up straight, her ears and gaze flickering as Lionstar spoke. Her gaze turned to her paws as she let out a small sigh. "Yes, he is as busy as always so no training yet..." she muttered softly, but made sure it was loud enough for Lionstar to hear. She knew she shouldn't have been blaming Whitefoot for her lack of training, he was busy doing other things, but hey, she had to blame somebody didn't she? However, even she was growing tired of her bad mood. This just didn't seem natural, being happy and out-going was what was natural for her.

"I would be glad to help Whitefoot while he's busy and take Honeypaw out for her first patrol, if you don't mind." Dewclaw had overheard her leader and the apprentice talking and felt disappointed in her former apprentice- though if he was truly busy, he couldn't be blamed. She stretched and walked over from the fresh-kill pile that she had previously deposited a couple of mice into.

Lionstar twitched a whisker, knowing how the apprentice may feel. It was frustrating to worry about having late training, which of course could possibly delay a future Warrior Ceremony. He had an idea about the situation, but wasn't sure if it was a necessarily good idea. But he chuckled anyways. As Dewclaw popped up, his minor worry disappeared. She may be a senior warrior, but she was a strong one, no doubt. She could definitely help out as well. "Would you like me and Dewclaw to help out then?" He purred, looking towards the camp entrance. "How about it? Better than sitting around camp looking like you got a tick you can't scratch. A border patrol sounds fine."

Honeypaw's ears perked up as Dewclaw came over, offering to help train her...and then Lionstar offering to help too? She jumped to her paws, a smile appearing on her face. "Yes! That would be amazing!" Her tail flickered as she glanced from the warrior to the leader. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" she said in a suddenly buzz of energy, her bad mood having seemingly disappeared in a matter of seconds. She wanted to prance around in a little circle in her glee, but she manged to keep her paws still.

"Alright then! Whenever you're ready." Lionstar laughed, happy to see the mood change for the better in the apprentice's attitude. Personally, he was ready to go now, with nothing better to do. Training an apprentice was very important, after all.

Ic: Dewclaw was happy to see the sudden joy pulse through Honeypaw. It was certainly better than her bad mood, that was for sure. "I'm good to go. And you?" She asked the she-cat.

Occ: This topic is fine. It would kinda suck it is was only like six posts long.

Ic: Honeypaw nodded, a grin on her face as she glanced from Lionstar to Dewclaw. She couldn't believe it, that she was getting these two to train her! "I'm ready now!" She spun and raced toward the entrance of the camp, only pausing to wait for them. Finally, training!

Ooc: Since Whitefoot is becoming inactive, Sunny or I could do your training instead if you like x)

Ic: Lionstar chuckled again and followed after he energetic she-cat. "Then let's go! Remember to stay calm though, in case you hear an intruder. Plus we don't want to scare all the prey away for the hunting patrols." He warned.

"I'm sure no Clan would want to mess with us, especially after the Sunningrocks battle!" Dewclaw was glad to be able to say that. The gray she-cat followed the other two out, Honeypaw's energy putting her into a good mood. She smiled and took up the rear, as she usually did. Secretly she liked being in the back because she could observe forest life and space out without being caught.

A small frown made it way onto Honeypaw's face as Lionstar told her to settle down, but she forced her excitement down as she started to pad into the territory as calmly as she could but her paws ached for her to run off and look at everything on her sight, but she pushed that kit part of her mind back, trying to stay calm and in control as she padded sightly behide Lionstar, her ears perked for any noise. She was going to make Lionstar proud, along with Dewclaw.

"Good job." He whispered, giving her a short smile before turning back to glance around. "We can check the main Shadowclan border first. That would be the Thunderpath." Lionstar meowed, heading in the direction of the road in which Monsters seemed to roam frequently on. As long as they stayed back from it, they should be fine.

As she trotted along behind them, Dewclaw caught the disgusting scent that felt like poison to the lungs. "I just hate the Thunderpath." She watched a few large monsters race past on the path, never straying an inch.

The Thunderpath? "The Thunderpath?" Honeypaw said, echoing her own thoughts. She had heard of the Thunderpath as a path that monsters took; monsters that could kill a cat easily under their paws. However, Honeypaw had always thought of it as a kit tale, just a story to scare young kits from leaving the camp or come face to face with such a monster. However, as they reached the black path, her fur fluffed out as she jumped back as a large monster road past, gagging at the smell, which truthfully, could of just been the scent of ShadowClan she was gagging on. She watched another monster roll past as it let out a steady growl, causing Honeypaw to return a growl of her own but she never drew near the path. There was no way she was setting foot on the strange black path with those monsters roaring past every once in a while. This she-cat was smarter than that.
