A Night in the Shadows

Rustfang backed away slightly.
"Oh no! ShadowClan's too much for us!" he said with mock alarm, shielding his face with his bushy tail.

Ooc: We should probably wait for Ebony x)

Ic: Shadekit let out a small kitten-roar, attempting to climb up Sagestar's leg using his tiny, harmless claws. Of course he wasn't the best climber, and simply tumbled back down. So instead, he went back to nipping at the tom's toes.

Sagestar laughed as the little kits "attacked" him and his fellow warrior, pulling his paw backwards as Shadekit nipped at his feet. "Oh, no!" He meowed, feigning a wail, "These warriors are too strong! What do we do?" He called to Rustfang, jumping back and batting back at the little furballs with one paw.

Nightkit, still sitting somewhat on Sagestar's head, just continued to gnaw at his ear cause it was just so gosh darn tasty. She listened to what Sagestar and Rustfang were saying as she watched her denmates attacked the 'ThunderClan' cats with all that they had.

"We must retreat! We don't need to shed needless blood when we know we can't win!" Rustfang answered, turning tail and ducking behind a swathe of ferns, "retreating".

Shadekit let out a playful snarl, batting back at Sagestar's paws. "Leave! Scram! This is our territory!" He happily hissed, a grin on his grey tabby face. The little tom laughed, feeling the excitement of the game wash over him, and he welcomed it. It was always fun to play games with his clanmates when they weren't busy.

Sagestar laughed and shook his head, trying to throw off the little kit eating away at his ears. He nudged his head into Nightkit lightly, tossing her back. "I don't think I can't make it! They're too strong!" The gray tabby yowled dramatically, tripping over Shadekit and falling to the ground on his back - he continued to bat at the kits with his paws.

Nightkit gasped as she was thrown off of Sagestar's head, rolling down his back and onto the ground. She glanced up from where she laid on the ground to see Sagestar, a smile appearing on her face. "That's right, you better run!" Flipping onto her paws, she raced over to where her leader laid and jumped onto his belly, pawing playfully at his muzzle.

"Oh no! I'll save you!" Rustfang declared rather dramatically, and raced out to his friend. Nudging the kits off him with soft paws and gentle nosing, he grabbed Sagestar's scruff and hauled him to the bushes.

Ooc: I believe we left Coon behind by accident o_o'

Ic: Shadekit huffed as he was pawed back. He glanced around, noticing a kit missing from their little 'patrol'. "Hey Smokekit! Where'd you go? We won!" He called out, happiness gleaming in his blue eyes. Was she hiding from them? Playing Hide-and-Seek? Maybe she was still on Rustfang, trying to pull him down further despite his aims to escape? Either way, Shadekit just didn't see her, which wasn't a problem. He didn't see a lot of things(>_> That was a failed joke).

Out of the shadows Smokekit made her reappearance by tackling the tom that had called out to her. "I beleive the correct term would be 'I won' Smokekit said as she tried to use her strength to pin Shadepaw down.

Shadekit squeaked in surprise, tumbling backwards. "Hey!" He laughed, trying to struggle out from where he was pinned. He kicked out his back paws, trying to playfully kick her off. "We'll see about that!" He growled, mischief glittering in his eyes.
