Aspen Just Randomly Does Whatever

Why can't I be an apprentice? Aspenkit thought pacing in a very small circle. She did not like it here. She wanted to go back. She felt as if there was always a ThunderClan warrior watching her with hostility and wariness. She couldn't take it any longer. She slowly slinked to the camp entrance and sat there till all was calm.

Icestream had been in the forest and smelled the kit... "Hello, young one what are you doing?" He asked.

"Waiting. Waiting for something exciting to happen," Aspenkit says. She sighs and watches the apprentices and their mentors.

Embershade just happened to see the kit as well, and padded over. "Hello, Aspenkit." She meowed. "Icestream." She murmered, not making eyesight with him. "Why don't you go play with the other kits?" She asked the kit.

Larchkit was behind Embershade, silently stalking her, Jumping onto her back, she started nomming on her ear. "Roar! I'm Larchstar, leader of Shadowclan, and my deputy, Aspenkit are going to attack you!" she mewed, playfully, still biting on Embershade's ear. She was already 6 moons old, but her apprenticeship would be delayed because she had caused alot of trouble.

"Ahh!" She silently screamed, smiling. "Don't attack me, Larchstar! I promise I'm not a threat!" She laughed while doing this. "As for the fighting," Embershade completely turned her body, flicking Larchkit off. She dropped into a crouch, meowing, "Do you still want to fight me now?"

Aspenkit jumped up on Embershade. "I am Aspenkit deputy of ShadowClan. I am 6 moons old and I shall also attack you!"

"Double attack? I can't take it!" Embershade yelled. Then she collapsed, laughing, with a pile of kits on top of her.

Larchkit purred, almost half the size of the warrior. She jumped off and layed down close to Embershade. So... Fluffy... she thought. But then shook her head, A Thunderclan cat? No way! But still... So... Starclanin, Fluffy... She never realised she was sleepily burrowing into Embershade's side.

Aspenkit was tired too. She decided to fall asleep on Embershade's soft fur.

Embershade felt the kits next to her and laughed silently, careful not to wake them. She lay there, silent.

Larchkit rolled deeper into her fur, So cozy...

Icestream watched, feeling sad looking at Embershade. "Ember I-" He broke off turning away.

Embershade opened her eyes. "Icestream? What is it?" She meowed, sitting up.

Icestream looked behind his shoulder, feeling a sharp pain in his heart just looking at her. He fought back tears, turning away from her. "Just nevermind." He growled, padding away.
