Brightkit laid inside the Nursery. She was rather large for a kit, not having gotten her ceremony quite yet. She sighed sadly. Brightkit was bored out of her mind, wishing she could do something as a medicine cat apprentice or even hang out with all the other apprentices. It wasn't fair! She felt like clawing off her fur in anger. But she could blame no one but herself. She hadn't stuck out as much as she should have. Another sigh escaped her. Boredom setting in once more.
