Apprentice Training (Need teacher)

"It's for the monsters," She meowed as the ground underneath their feet began to rattle. "Stay back," she hissed as she pushed Silverpaw farther away from the black ground to take cover in the bushes not far from the Thunderpath. As the monster got closer and closer, the horrible stench that emitted from the path began to grow worse and worse as the sound that came from its underside grew louder and louder until it rushed past, sending a whirl of dirty, powerful gusts of hot air until it was gone again in the other direction. "And that was a monster."

IC: Silverpaw's eyes were huge as she watched the giant thing race by. Dust it kicked up got into the apprentice's nose, causing her to sneeze several times. "Woah, those things are- *achoo* Huge!" She whispered in between sneezes.

Gingerheart nodded silently for a moment before looking at Silverpaw. "That is exactly why you try to stay off the Thunderpath. Not only that, but if you cross it, Thunderclan will not appreciate it. Of course, they're just mouse-brained fools anyway, but you get my point. Let's not fight anymore battles than we have to with them," She mewed in a lightened tone. "Now we will move on to the last important border." She then continued walking, getting farther away from the Thunderpath, hoping to leave it behind her with no trouble. Next, though, she was sure Silverpaw was going to be in for a trip.

Silverpaw followed behind her mentor, a little more cautious than before. What could the next one be? I should be careful, this might be dangerous too.

They finally made it to the last border that they had to check. "Are you keeping an eye on where we are going?" She asked curiously as she glanced back at her apprentice before stopping at a tall fence that blocked their way to the whatever lay behind it. Of course, it was just piled high with trash and it smelled terrible, and yet, subtle scurrying could be heard on the other side. It was a nasty place that Gingerheart didn't even like to be around. "This is Carrionplace. What do you think about it?" She asked.

Silverpaw had smelled the stench of the Carrionplace a while before they had got there, and it was even worse up close. She scrunched up her face. "It smells worse than the last place!" She groaned. "We actually eat stuff from here?" She asked, having heard about it before.

Gingerheart laughed lightly for a moment before shaking her head. "Not usually, but if times get real tough, and there isn't any prey left in the territory, there are still some rats here that can be edible." She shivered at the thought. "Although, I truly hope it never comes down to that."

Silverpaw thought she saw a pair of eyes peeking out of one of the black pelts, but as soon as she blinked they were gone. Was that my imagination or not? "I think this smell is gonna go to my brain!" She snorted, half jokingly.
