Such a strange place

Midnightkit opened her eyes, startled awake for a reason unknown to her. When she glanced around confusion hit her. Where am I? she wondered to herself.

Kestrelflight looked back to find a small kit laying in the grass. She turned, walking forward. "Are you lost?" she asked softly as she walked towards the kit.

Midnightkits eyes grew wide as the older cat talked to her. She smelled foreign; not from her clan. "Y-yes... I think.." she said softly, a scared look on her face.

"It's ok. You're just dreaming." she said soothingly, sitting down and curling her tail over her paws. "I'm Kestrelflight, Medicine Cat Apprentice of SkyClan. What's your name?" she asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Midnightkit." she answered, her voice still softly. She didn't know this feline, nor her clan. Those facts made her shyness level raise to a more drastic level. It was taking all of her self control to not just run away right now.

Kestrelflight could tell this little kit was on edge. "Would you like to play?"

At the sound of play, Midnightkits ears perked up slightly. "Play what?" she questioned.
