Patchkit's apprentice ceremony

Stormstar leaped onto the Tallrock and let out a loud yowl. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!"

Occ: Short post is short.

Patchkit bounded out happily her fur all over the place, "Mommy! come on!" she called into the nursery happily. "This is it... my apprentice ceremony" she thought with a smile growing every second that went by. "I hope mommy or daddy will be my mentor" she smiled more at the thought sitting nearly almost directly under the rock she looked up at her father.

Raccoonheart padded out of the nursery, with a prideful look on her face. Her kit was becoming an apprentice! Now she has two to be proud of. A Medicine Cat, and a Warrior. She purred as she went over to her usual spot under the tall rock. She looked up at the leader, who was also her mate.

ooc: I will take Patch as an apprentice, I need an apprentice anyway.

Icepaw padded out of her den of solitude to find her sister jumping around camp with her fur all over the place.

"Patchkit! Clean your fur! I don't want want my sibling to be disgraceful at her ceremony!" the apprentice shouted. She began muttering to herself about having to have a sister.

She sighed at her sisters comment and licked down her fur, atleast she's finally and apprentice and no one would get her down about that!

Stormstar glanced around the 'crowded' clearing before rising his voice. "Patchkit, will you please step forward?"

Minteyes sat in the crowd as Patchkit moved towards Tallrock.

She stepped towards her father proudly a smile stretching across her face.

As the kit did so, he smiled sightly at his daughter. "Patchkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Patchpaw. Your mentor will be Raccoonheart. I hope Raccoonheart will pass down all she knows on to you." Glancing sideways at his mate, he purred."Raccoonheart, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from (enter mentor here), and you have shown yourself to be loyal and a great hunter. You will be the mentor of Patchpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Patchpaw."

"Patchpaw! Patchpaw! Patchpaw!" The she-cat began chanting the new apprentice's name. Minteyes dreamt of the day that she would be graced with an apprentice of her own.

Raccoonheart looked at her kit/apprentice and went up to her new apprentice. "Well go see the territory later. For now I have to take care of patrols." She mewed to her apprentice.

"Ok mom" she smiled gladly up at her mother who is now her mentor aswell.
