Fallenkit's New Discovery

Fallenkit was overwhelmed by all the new sensations of camp; the sights, the scents, the sounds! Everything was like a revelation to the young kitten. Fallenkit was so enthralled by the new perspective of the world that she didn't notice the stick laying on the ground a few paw steps in front of her. She gasped as she glanced around the empty clearing, before spotting the stick lying in front of her paws. She placed her paw on the the tiny branch, marveling at its wonders as she observed the tiny cracks and patterns indented in its wood. Clutching it between her little claws, she batted it into the air, the new world no longer the center of attention.

Snowstorm had been hunting like always /shot when she finally came back. She wasn't very glad, coming back empty-handed. She noticed a new kit, and a smile grew on her face. "A new kit!" she said. She raced over and her eyes were lit up. "Hi!" she said, trying to stay calm and kind,

Fallenkit raised her ears, almost missing the excited greeting. She batted away the stick she held, quickly turning over to face the new arrival. With bright curious eyes, Fallenkit cocked her head at the sight of a Warrior she had not seen before.

"Hello!" She mewed happily.

Snowstorm purred. "I'm Snowstorm!" she said. "Who are you?" she asked, still smiling.

Fallenkit brightened at the Warrior's introduction, "I'm Fallenkit!" she replied.

Nightwing carried over a frog and smiled at the kit. She had been listening in, and Nightwing wanted her chance to say a nice hello to the tiny kit. "Hello little one." She blinked sitting down. The black and white warrior wrapped her tail around her paws.

Fallenkit again caught another greeting as another she-cat walked up to her. Her attention shifted and she smiled, bouncing up and down excitedly. "Hi!" She said, before cocking her head to the side, "I don't think I've seen you before either." she added.

Nightwing nodded. "I am Nightwing." She nuzzeled the little kitten. "And you are addoreable!" She loved little kits! They where so tiny and cute "What would you like to be when you grow up?" Nightwing asked the kit the same thing she was asked when she was a just a small kitten.

Fallenkit touched her nose against Nightwing's soft fur, thinking about the question she had been asked. She pouted, still stumped, and shuffled her paws. The light gray kit's eyes suddenly brightened as she thought of an answer. "I want to be whatever my clan needs me to be!" she said, remembering the stories of her mother's strong unbreakable devotion to the clan.

Nightwing nodded, This was a good answer. "Well, I hope you serve your clan well." She licked the kits head. "Do you want to play moss ball?" Nightwing asked picking up a clump of dried moss with the tips of her claws.

Fallenkit perked up at Nightwing's offer, someone want to play with her! She purred happily, "I do!" she replied.

"Alright!" Nightwing fling the dried moss off the tips of her claws sending it flying across the muddy clearing. The moss bounced to a stop at the edge. Nightwing waited for Fallenkit to run over and snatch it.

Fallenkit couldn't of gotten off her paws any faster, dashing across the clearing to where the mossball lay. She skidded to a stop, accidentally sliding past her target. Angry at her own failure to do it right the first time, the kit crouched on her four paws, imagining an invader in front of her, before pouncing on the scrap of moss with the intent of teaching it a lesson.

Nightwing's whiskers twitched in amusement. "Go get that moss!" She cheered. Let the kits live their kit-hood happily. She thought to herself. Nightwing crouched ready for the kit's return, hopfully with the ball fully intact, if not, shredded to bits.

Fallenkit puffed out her chest, gaining confidence at Nightwing's encouragement. If Nightwing thought she could do it, then she should too! Unsheathing her little claws, Fallenkit attacked the imaginary intruder, sinking her tiny needle-like weapons into the moss. Her face scrunched up in frustration as the moss slipped up from underneath her, causing her to land on her rump. She hissed, snagging the intruder(ThunderClan, from the sneakiness of it!) with her fangs. She shook her head, tearing the moss apart.

Now victorious, Fallenkit remembered her playmate. Her face flushed, before she hit the ball back to Nightwing a little harder than necessary.
