Moringpaw and Greyheart; basic warrior training

Morningpaw walked out of camp with Greyheart, off to learn the basics to be a warrior. She had to learn some to be a Medicine Cat. Honestly, she was rather excited to learn some battle stuff.

"Are you ready to learn the basics, young medicine cat?" she meowed looking down at her, she still didn't like the apprentice but, this was her clan.

"Yes!" Morningpaw said.

She nodded and padded onward till they reached the training grounds, lashing around, "I'll show you the front paw strike the most basic of moves" she meowed turning around she threw her paw forward and unsheathed her claws on a small push, branches cracking under her large mighty paw.

Morningpaw nodded, watching. It was a simple move. One she had probably done in her lifetime, if not then a similar version while playing with the other kits when she was a kit. She faced the bush and lashed out, managing to succeed with some clumsiness. But all in all, she felt satisfied as she snapped one of the branches in the bush.

Nodding with amusement she meowed "Good, now, lets try leap and hold" she meowed and angled to the bush, leaping at it she claw at its roots to pull it out but couldn't.

Morningpaw watched carefully. She faced the bush and tried her best to mimic the move, again with more clumsiness. The limbs of the bush scratched her, and she scrambled away, hissing in frustration.

she nodded with agreement of the apprentices skills but, she can fix her balance "Okay, I want you to crouch low, not so low your belly touches and not too high, also your tail must be level" she directed.

Morningpaw crouched down, using her tail for balance. She leveled it out. "Like this?" she asked.

"Yep, now I want you to leap forward with muscle in your haunches" she instructed.

Morningpaw got ready, bunching up her muscles. She leapt forward, pouncing on a pare patch of ground.

She watched the she-cat carefully and let a nod of approval control her head.

Morningpaw stood. "What now?" she asked.

"Back to camp." she meowed and padded towards camp
