Mintkit's ceremony

Stormstar padded from his den, narrowing his eyes against the sun-light. It was about sun-rise now, which meant that most of the Clan would be in the camp. He quickly bounded across the clearing and onto the Tallrock. The rock was warm from the sun, which felt nice on the leader's white paws. Turning toward the clearing below him, he raised his head to the sky as he let out a loud yowl. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!"

Mintkit sat at the entrance of the nursery hearing Stormstar's voice call out over the moor.

Occ: Ugh, I am just going to go on with it. I was hoping that somebody else would post... Anyways, Running. I am going to make you a warrior apprentice and if you happen to ever get approved to be a MCA, we can say that Wild got a sign and you can become a MCA.

Ic: Stormstar gazed at the group of cats below him. His eyes stopped on Mintkit, and he smiled sightly as he called out again. "I have called you all here today to witness a kit becoming an apprentice. Mintkit, will you please step forward."

Falconkit sat near the entrance and watched the ceremony, happy for Mintkit but also a bit apprehensive about his own ceremony, whenever it would happen.

She stepped forward as she was called to the Tallrock. Bounding up to Stormstar she waited for him to continue.

Stormstar glanced around the clearing before he spoke once again. "Mintkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mintpaw. Your mentor will be myself." Stormstar leaped from the Tallrock to stand before the small apprentice. "I have no doubt that you will no fail me, Mintpaw," he purred, bending his head so that Mintpaw could touch noses with him.

Touhing her nose to ther new mentor she purred, "I won't".

Falconkit swallowed his doubt and cheered for Mintpaw with the rest of the clan.

ic -- Mintpaw stepped down from Tallrock and looked up at Stormstar to make sure he didn't have anything else to announce.

OoC: Doubt for his own ceremony, whenever that should happen in this time frame, lol.

Stormstar gazed around the Clan and flicked his long tail. "This gathering is over." Turning his warm stare to his new appretice, he purred sightly. "Training will start tomorrow, Mintpaw."

Mintpaw nodded as she heard her mentor speak.

OC -- Badge, I've been approved for the mca.

Stormstar gazed at his apprentice before turning and disappearing into his den. He figured that Mintpaw would want to get settled into her new den, and anyways, the leader had to think about what they were going to do first.

Occ: Kk, Running, but we have two problems. Number 1. we need Wild to get a sign or something so that you will be his apprentice. Number 2. is that he was last on the 31...

occ -- I might just stay a warrior if Wild doesn't get on.
