Badger attack!

Dawnlight padded out of the Shadowclan camp looking around at the early morning sky. She gave a stretch before heading to her usual herb picking spot. She was well on her way when a strange scent came across her nose. "Hmmm......" She stopped and listened for a moment before continuing on her journey. When she saw her herbs in sight she noticed a strange figure with them. She got a bit closer before she felt a breeze come from behind her. As the breeze went by the creature turned and faced her. Dawnlight stood frozen in fear as reconized the creature before her. "B-badger!!" She cried.

Shadepaw heard his mentor's yowl, as he was out collecting herbs already. He dropped the herbs that were in his mouth, sprinting to the clearing area thing where she was, seeing the badger. His jaw dropped once more. ouo

Shadowstar had epically been on a patrol that was coincidentally nearby when she heard Dawnlight's yowl. "Dawnlight!" She shouted back, immediately rushing to the medicine cat's aid. It was only a little bit later when she stopped in the clearing and nearly came face-to-face with the large badger that was staring at Dawnlight and Shadepaw. "You two, get out of here!" She yowled.

Sagewhisker had been about as quick to react as his leader, as he had been on the same ironic patrol with her. While Shadowstar tried to warn them off, the young tom decided to be a little more risky, to get them the chance to do so. Cautiously, he slicked through the muddy waters and fluffed his pelt up, making him look twice the size of what he actually was.
The warrior snarled and hissed behind the badger, swiping at it's tail with his claws, trying to catch it's attention but ready to move at a moment's notice.

The Badger turned to face Sagewhisker, It made a noise that Badgers make as it lashed out it's paw towards the cat in front of it.


Dawnlight stood there for a moment and then grab Shadepaw by the scruff then went under a bush far away.

Shadepaw just kind of did what he was told xD

Leopardpaw was hanging around im the apprintace den til she heard some rucus. She padded out of the den to see what was a matter.

OOC: We're pretty far out into the forest, Leopard. ouo

Leopardpaw was shocked she stood there as frozen as Ice.

"Sagewhisker look out!" Shadowstar yowled as she prepped herself for a split second before running and slamming herself into the body of the badger at least to try to knock it off balance so that it wouldn't hit her former apprentice and unofficial adopted kit. The last thing she wanted was for him to be hit.
