Awakening the Storm

OOC: Wow I really don't like your cat...

Ravenfeather was about to say something until Longpaw interrupted her. Turning her attention on the medicine cat apprentice, Ravenfeather scoffed. "I don't have to do any such thing, Longpaw." Ravenfeather remarked, laying down. "He is old enough to wander around the camp, and you cannot keep him from seeing his father either."

"Well untill his father stops hurting he may see him but not drag him outside to play" he hissed at the black cat.

Runningfoot pushed herself awake from the mossy nest in the warriors' den. Padding outside she saw Ravenfeather, Stormeye, Lightningkit, and Longpaw. She moved her way to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a small field mouse. Trotting over with her tail held high in the air to the Medicine Den, she layed down the mouse. "How are you feeling this morning Stormeye?"

OOC: Sorry I've been away, been busy with RL. I'm back now

Stormeye let out a huff, looking at Longpaw. "I'm fine, Longpaw. I'm sure that getting some fresh air and a small game of moss ball won't hurt me. And anyways, I was the one that asked Ligntingkit if he wanted to play a game." Turning his gaze to Runningfoot, he smiled a bit. "I'm feeling great. My chest and side hurts, but it doesn't bother me to much."

"Fine" he growled and turned around into the medicine cat den and returned with some and horsetail and cobwebs. Pulling off the old cobwebs and licking off the dried blood and placing the horsetail on then putting the cobwebs on, Longpaw turned around and went in again and came out plopping down black splotchs that were poppyseeds.

Ravenfeather bit her tongue before she could say something to Longpaw that she would regret. Giving stormeye an affectionate lick on the ear, she padded back over to her shade spot and laid back down, her tail flicking in agitation.

Lightningkit caught the mossball with some difficulty and he tossed it back to his father. "Is everything OK?" he asked

Stormeye let out a small snort, and looked at Lightningkit as he stopped the ball with his paw. "Everything is fine, Lightningkit. Don't worry," he meowed as he turned his gaze to the poppy seeds. "How many should I take, Longpaw? The pain isn't much and I don't want to get to sleepy...I just woke up after all."

"Just take them and don't complain" he mewed with a frown a growl just about escaped his throat, he was a little moody about how many cats he has to help heal.

"You need to get as much rest as you need to gain your strength" for a possiblity of being deputy, she looked towards Ravenfeather who had left, but added in "but it is good to get some stretching every now and again, if you are feeling as you say you are." Her gaze carried to Longpaw. Everyone seemed to be on edge today. It seemed as if no one was greatful for the fact that their mate, father, or warrior was still alive and for the most part healthy. They just wanted to bicker and be right in the end. Runningfoot inhaled and exhaled a deep breathe that was needed.

Stormeye just rolled his eyes and licked up the poppyseeds. Laying his head down on his paws, he let out a huff. Nobody seem to be happy that he was awake. He wasn't even sure how long he had been out...His ears suddenly perked up, and let out a small sad sigh. He wondered if Dawnlight knew about the fox attack and how he got hurt...was she out of her mind worrying? He made it his job that the first thing he did when he was able to leave camp was see if Dawnlight was at Fourtrees. She should know what happened.

Ravenfeather padded back to her mate and laid down beside him. The thing she had been mostly mad about, and the reason she had walked away, was that Longpaw had not allowed her to see stormeye while he was sleeping. Now, though, he had no reason to keep her away.
