Awakening the Storm

Silence came from the Medicine Cat Den as the grey and black figure of Stormeye snoozed away. Had he been awake since the fox attack? The answer was no. It had been two days, and while his wounds were healing, he hadn't moved, but that all changed in a second. Stormeye eyes shot open, and he tried to leap to his paws as his side flashed with pain, where the fox had thrown him into the High rock. He landed on his paws, but they suddenly gave out and he fell back to the ground. The grey warrior's eyes flashed around in fear, unsure of where he was. The last thing he really remembered was the foxes running away and Foxleap asking if he was alright. Then everything...was...just gone, blurry, hard to remember. He slowly got to his paws, but this time they let him stay up right. Glancing around, he realized he was in Willowstream's den, but the medicine cat was no where to be found, along with her apprentice. Perhaps they were trying to find herbs? He just sighed, and slowly padded toward exit of the den, when pain flooded into his chest, causing Storm to look down at the cobwebs that encased it. The wound...he figured that wound would of been the death of him, but it seemed that Willowstream really can work magic. Ignoring the pain, he glanced around the camp. The sun was just rising, basking the small dip that the cats called the WindClan camp in it's faint sunlights, giving the grass a red-ish tint, almost making Stormeye believed they were soaked in blood, but what memory he had of the fox attack, of the foxes running away, he knew it was just the sunlight playing tricks on him. He sat down with a small sigh, his whole body hurting from the scratches the foxes had gave him, waiting for the first cat to awaken and leave their den.

Lightningkit awoke. This morning he was going to see Stormeye for the first time since he was injured by the fox. He bounded away to the medicine cat den to see him. "Hi Stormeye!" he said.

Stormeye smiled when he saw his kit bounding toward him, getting to his paws. "Hey, Lightningkit!" he purred, padding over to meet his kit halfway.

Ligtningkit noticed Stormeye's painful gait. "Are you ok?" he asked. "Be careful. I don't want to see you hurt any more!"

"My chest hurts, along with my side. But other then that I am fine," he purred, laying down. "And don't worry, I am not planing to get hurt until Willowstream says I can. I guess I am stuck in the camp thought."

"Welcome to the club!" He said playfully.

Stormeye laughed. "Do you want to do anything while we are stuck in camp? I can play with you, as long as it doesn't mean moving to much."

"We could play mossball, if that's ok." Lightningit said, trying to hide his excitement from seeing his father.

"OK!" he said, rushing off to fetch moss from his nest. He snuck to the nest and scraped some moss together and pushed it into a ball. He rolled it back to where Stormeye was laying. "Here we go!" he said, tossing it easily to his father.
OOC: When Rayne gets back, maybe she should have Willow yell at Storm and Lightning for being careless.

Occ: That would be fun

Ic: Stormeye hooked the ball of moss with his claw, and threw it back, loving how he barely had to move with this game.

The moss ball sailed over Lightningkit's head. With remarkable jumping skill, he caught the ball with his front paws and batted it back to Stormeye.

Ravenfeather quietly padded out of the nursery, taking in realization that soon she would be back into the warriors den. The sound of her kit playing by the medicine cats den had caused her to awakened her, and that is where she quietly padded to. The sight of mate, awake and playing, caused her heart to leap with joy, but that soon disappeared. Mouse-for-brained cat! she thought to herself, growling softly.

Stormeye caught the ball, then froze. He felt like something was somewhat angry at him... Turning, he saw his mate looking at him. "Ravenfeather!" he purred, before quickly throwing the ball back to Lightningkit, hoping that she didn't noticed.

Longpaw padded into the den after his super long trip hunting for herbs, he put them in his den and walked up to Stormeye "You shouldn't be out here you should be in the medicine cat den healing, I come back from a few days trip hunting and I find out that foxes attack and you were injured, we should be changeing your cobwebs and changing the marigold" he meowed nosing the warrior with a frown. "Ravenfeather take your kit back into the nursery" he meowed.
