She said, then took a bite of the sparrow.
"And by 'sure,' I mean 'yes, you can go ahead and let kittypets waltz all over the land without even so much as looking for the mother of this homeless kit.'"
She finished the bite of prey and pushed the bird to the side with a paw, a very serious look on her face.
"I'll bet you there's a queen out there panicking because she's lost her kit. Did you even think to look for that queen? A lost kit is a very serious matter- and I've been trying to keep this Clan in line since the loss of Deadstar."
Silverstar knew Honeypaw didn't know who Deadstar was, as she was not alive at the time. She was probably scolding her apprentice beyond what was neccessary, but she really did need to make sure no queen was angry or frantic.
