Playing with the Kits (wc)

Stormpaw hooked it on his claw and threw it back at Ravenkit letting out a laugh. He was happy that she was still a kit so they could still play like this with each other.

A small growl echoed in her throat as she pounced on the moss ball. She picked it up with her teeth and looked at Stormpaw, her eyes glittering.

Stormpaw smiled, his icy blue eyes sparking in the sunlight. "I bet you will be a great hunter, Ravenkit!"

Ravenkit giggled softly, dropping the moss ball. "They'd probably outrun me if I tried.," Ravenkit told him.

Stormpaw smiled. "I'm sure that you will be the best hunter the Clan will ever see, and that you will feed the Clan even with leaf-bare."

She smiled at his remark. "We'll just have to wait and see then."

Stormpaw nodded, his messy fur shining in the golden sun-light. "Yup!" he meowed, before looking around the empty camp. "So want do you want to do?"

Ravenkit sat down, sighing. "I don't know. I mean, I can't leave the camp."

Stormpaw nodded, smiling a bit when he thought about when they did break out of camps as a kit. "Yea, and I am sure that Willowstream wouldn't be happy with you leaving the camp again." He sighed, shaking his head. "I just wish there was something we could do!"

Ravenkit nodded, laying on her back. "So do I."

Stormpaw thought for a moment and then sighed. "I guess I am going to go sleep until Gracestep comes to get me," he yawned, and got to his paws. He padded back to the apprtince den, but stopped at the mouth of it. "See you later, Ravenkit" he purred as he looked over his shoulder and disappeared into the den. He laid in his nest and glanced around. There was no one on the den, as Runningpaw was out hunting. He sighed sadly and closed his eyes. He knew that he might not be able to fall asleep, but he wanted to be well rested for his training.

"Bye..." Ravenkit muttered softly, watching him pad away. Ravenkit rolled back onto her stomach, eyeing the moss.
