Training for Dawn

Silentherb padded into the ShadowClan camp, looking around with wide eyes. She had never been in the camp before, and even thought she knew that she wouldn't be attacked, she felt like she might be. Because of Dawnpaw being behide on training because of her mentor randomly disappearing at times, she was going to train the ShadowClan medicine cat apprentice. She poked her head into the medicine cat den, looking at the sleeping body of Dawnpaw. "Dawnpaw," she meowed, her whisker's twitching. "Wake up, it's time for training."

Dawnpaw looked at Silentherb when she flicked her eyes open at the medicine cats voice. She slowly stood with a yawn, "What are we gonna do today?" She asked.

Silentherb thought for a moment, then fixed Dawnpaw with her bright yellow eyes. "Have you had herb training yet?"

"No I haven't, Twanyfur disappeared shortly after I became an apprentice." She mewed.

Silentherb flicked her ear, nodding. "Then we will start there. Follow me," she meowed, turning and padded into the territory, stopping at some roots, and turned to Dawnpaw. "These are Burdock Roots. Do you know what they are used for?"

"Ummmm...." She had to think for a moment, "Rat bites?"

Silentherb nodded, smiling happily. "Very good, Dawnpaw! The root is very importian to ShadowClan cats mostly because of them living near rats. Chewing up the roots and placing them on the wound will help lessen pain and stop it from getting infected," she meowed, before turning to a small bush with flowers resembling daisies, with small soft leaves, and has a sharp tangy smell which was growing near a pond that just happened to be near her. "This is a Feverfew bush. Do you know what these are used for?"

"Uhh... Fever?" She asked thinking of the name Feverfew.

Silentherb nodded. "Yes, I figured it would be easy for you to figure that out," she purred, before she thought back to her training with Icewhisker. "What would you use if you had a bellyaches?"

"Hmmmm.... Juniper Berries?" She asked, feeling kinda certain that was the answer.

Silentherb nodded. "Yes, you would use Juniper Berries or Parsley," she meowed, then she noticed the sun was coming down. "Hm, I didn't notice how long we had been out here. That is all for today."

"Okay! I hope Greyfeather or Mountainclaw has a mouse saved for me!" Dawnpaw mewed. As she started walking back to camp.

Silentherb watched as Dawnpaw padded back to camp, and headed back to the RiverClan camp. Hopefully nobody had gotten hurt while she was gone.
