leafbare hunt

Leopardpaw shivered in the cold snow. It was the harsh, unforgiving season of leafbare, and prey was scarce. the clan would need as much substance as they could lay their paws on. she waited for the others to join her.

The snow was coming down hard this paticular day of all days. He approached Leopardpaw with a shiver, the season had turned quite harsh this past moon. "Find anything?" He asked her slowly, it had been a long days hunt and the success rate had been quite low today. He scanned through the harsh blowing wind but his eyes couldn't detect any signs of movement within his very limit line of sight range.

OOC: I read this in a different topic but decided to post it here. By 4/4 time you mean in music, right?

"Nope." leopard replied.

OCC: yeah 4/4 in music

Goldenfeather approached them. There was a tiny scrawny shrew in her mouth. "This is all I managed to find.." She meowed. Then she shivered. "It's really cold!"

The wind picked up strongly which caused the snow to be forcefully pushed, smacking the three ThunderClan cats, and causing them all to shiver at least for a second, "Are you sure you two want to be out here when it's so cold? I can't have two of ThunderClan's cats falling ill, especially in this brutal season." He asked them as the wind picked up once again, as if trying to push down the three cats.

Goldenpaw tried to cover a sneeze, but it came out anyways. "Uhm....."

leopard suddenly lept out into the snow. she came back with a plump rabbit. "This guy's found some food," she remarked.

Graystream laughed a little bit. He searched through the snow filled Territory but it blinded his sight badly. He looked over at Goldenfeather and noticed her let out a sneeze, "Are you alright?" He asked, concern filled his voice.

"I think you should see Bramblepaw for some herbs," leopard remarked.

Goldenpaw shrugged. She just hoped the didn't have greencough. "I dont know..." She said. "Her supplies are already limited, and I'm not that sick yet." Goldenpaw let out another tiny sneeze.

Leopard nudged her towards bramble's cave. "Come on," she coaxed.

IC: Graystream watched the two of them go. He decided that he would go out and try to find some scraps of prey that could still be lingering around the area before he would head back. He set off through the snow slowly in the hopes of finding prey.
