Hunting with Bramblepaw...... again

Rainpaw sat at the entrance of camp, waiting patiently for Bramblepaw so they could go hunting together.

Bramblepaw saw Rainpaw at the entrance of the camp waiting for him. He ran up to her and stopped sending some dirt flying. "Sorry about that." he said flicking some dirt off his pelt. "Ready?" he mewed

"Yep, I hope my luck is better and the dice don't hate me while hunting," she purred as she turned and began to walk off into the forest.

Bramblepaw grinned then padded next to her. "Where do you want to hunt first?" he asked.

"Mmmm... you choose," she purred playfully.

Bramblepaw smiled, "Ok...hmmm.....why don't we go to Highpines?" he asked. "But wait, you'll have to race me first." he mewed playfully

"Last one there's crowfood!" Raipaw yowled playfully as she dashed of to Highpines.

"That won't be me!" he yowled catching up to her as they raced to Highpines.

Rainpaw giggled as she and Bramblepaw both raced to Highpines together. "I win!" she exclaimed as they reached highpines.

"Well you got a head start! Besides I was going easy on you." he exclaimed playfully. "I'm just kidding. You're fast!" he mewed

Rainpaw giggled. She looked around, ears twitching. "Oops, I think we scared away all they prey."

"I don't think so. I can smell a lot over there." he mewed. Bramblepaw felt so happy when they were playing together right now. Then his dream came back to his mind and he tried to shake the thought out of his head.

Rainpaw sniffed the air in the direction Bramblepaw had pointed out. She got down into a crouch and began to stalk a mouse, leaping after it when she was only a few tail-lengths away...
