After the Battle

Sparrowflight stood guard at the entrance, waiting frantically for the battle party to return, imagining the victorious glow they would have around them. Would they even be hurt at all? If SkyClan were anything like WindClan, she figured not.

Singepaw half-as-edly dragged herself through the enterance. "Geebis. That went terrible." she muttered quietly.

Hopeclaw groaned. "Do you have to keep mentioning how bad it was, Singepaw?" She was annoyed. How could they lose? I mean, just because she stood around and didn't post half the time doesn't mean they should have lost.

Sleepystar steamed past Sparrowflight, infuriated. He headed straight to his den, claws still unsheathed. He had patches of blood matting his fur, from both himself and Stonestar.

Moonfrost was snoring in the corner. She had cobwebs tied around her head and chest. Her injuries weren't fatal, but the were serious enough for her to be bedridden for a couple of days. She had snuck into camp and immediately collapsed whenever she entered. As far as the others knew, she had been there the whole time.

Sparrowflight pricked her ears, "What happened?" Her eyes shifted from the apprentice to the young warrior. She shuttered when she caught sight of her thought-of-mother. "Moonfrost!" she gasped and ran over, nearly crashing into Sleepystar in the process.

Moonfrost opened one eye. "Hi Sparrowflight.." She mumbled. "How are you today?" She asked, only half conscious. "Oh yeah, can I have some ice cream?" She mumbled before fazing out again.

Hopeclaw watched as Sleepystar stormed to his den. "The poor old man... She thought. She started towards his den, but stayed back instead- thinking he would need some time to himself.

She went over by Sparrowflight and Moonfrost. "Where's Silent? Should I go get her?" She said, somewhat panicked.

Sleepystar emerged from his den, with a stick from his nest. In the soft sand of the camp he began to drag it across, making various shapes and lines.

"Eh- what...? Ice cream?" What was that? Oh dear StarClan! Her mind! She must be dying! Oh noes! Freaking out melodramatically, Sparrowflight looked to Hopeclaw. "Please, hurry!"

Moonfrost frowned, eyes fluttering. "But... Sparrowflight, ice cream would help me head, no? At least get me a Tylenol, dear." She begged in a soporific haze as she rolled over. She let out a "Mrrrrrw." as she stretched, reopening a small wound on her stomach.

Silentherb came raising out of her den, having gotten her name the night before, nobody knew what it was yet. She raced toward Moonfrost with Marigold and Cobwebs, not stopping to speak with the other cats. She quickly chewed up the Mairgold and placed it on the wound.

"Ice cream? Tylenol? I think she's making up words now..." Hopeclaw said.

Silentherb just shrugged as she worked on, having heard about the battle from her den, this time placing the cobwebs on the wound.
