Gracepaw's Battle Practice

Sootshadow sat at the entrance of camp finishing a mouse and waiting for Gracepaw to come to her.

Gracepaw bounded up, her roleplayer going to act like she was older and more strong.

"Today you are going to learn how to fight. Let's go to the clearing." She mewed, and padded into the forest into the clearing.

ooc: Just to let you know.. after the battle practice Sootshadow and Gracepaw are gonna get attacked by a badger and it is gonna blind Sootshadow before it Runs off.

ooc- Okay.

Gracepaw followed her mentor untill they got there.

"Okay first move is the front paw blow." She mewed. "Show me it. You should know it."

Gracepaw gently whacked her mentor with sheathed claws.

"Good. Now the front paw strike." She mewed

ooc: Don't worry about the battle system no one uses it and also you know it..

Gracepaw, agian, hit her mentor but with the Front Paw Strike.

Sootshadow winced a bit but then mewed, "Belly rake."

Gracepaw dived under her mentor, and slide her paws along Sootshadow's below, then leaping away.

"Good." Sootshadow mewed then said, "Leap and hold" She mewed hearing a twig snap in the bushes but decided to ignore it.

"What was t-" but ended, deciding if it was important Sootshadow would react. She leaped onto her mentor, and battered her gently.

When she got off, a badger thundered out with a roar.

Sootshadow shook of Gracepaw. She turned towards the badger and leaped at it. She dug her claws into it's back.

Gracepaw unsheathed her claws, and dove under it, slashing while quickly leaping away.

The badger lumbered backwards, and shook Sootshadow off. It quickly lashed out a paw at her then lumbered away.

Sootshadow tried to avoid the blow to her chest and ducked, but she didn't duck fast enough. The paw came over her eyes and she let out a wail. "I can't see!"
