Hardkit had been awaken by a noise in the trees. He looked up and saw a bird. It had seemed to him he had been asleep for years. He saw the other kits playing together and wondered if he would just fall asleep again or go play with them. It wasn't that hard to choose between himself and his friends. He went to play with the others...
