The Sprint for Fourtrees [ #6 RiverClan ]

Skypaw looked around at the water eyes wide

icecloud woke up and went outside. "whats this talk about going to fourtrees?" she asked sleepystar.

Rainpaw had heard the yowling outside the apprentince den, so she pulled herself together, and walked outside. She had heard most of the conversation, so she didn't ask what was happening. She decided to listen in.

"Let's just hurry, my fishy can't breath!" he snapped, dashing away towards the sacred Fourtrees.

Moonfrost glanced at Sleepystar as he ran off. " Later. Now, we most go to Fourtrees. I fear that the camp's going to flood." She gave a weak explanation before summoning everyone with a flick of her tail to follow their leader, and then chased after Sleepystar.

Sparrowflight let out a deep gulp, running into the nursery and grabbing hold of a frantic Larkkit.

As if on cue of Sleepystar's order, the reed wall from behind the leader's den collapsed and a sudden wave of water came rushing in at massive speeds, sweeping the entire camp in a matter of seconds.

The warrior gasped through a turf of for and sprinted for the exit before the flood cauht up and the two of them were swept under along with the rest of the clan. Only Sleepystar had fled quick enough to possibly escape.

Moonfrost gasped and was pulled under the current. She swam vigorously and reached the surface, looking around for everyone else.

Badgerfang raced out of the warrior den, where she was listening to the whole thing go on. She quickly ran into the river, and looked at it with wide eyes. She quickly sighed and went into the water, doing her best to swim, even thought she didn't even have RiverClan blood in her.

Skypaw turned and saw her mentor, "Moonfrost! Over here!" she yelled

iceloud starting swimming. oh staarclan why? she couldn't find her special someone, not anywhere.

Rainpaw started swimming as hard as she could, though her head kept on bobbing under the current. She sent a silent prayer. Starclan, help us!

OOC: Mind if I join? (Put this before we get over with the maypaw-returning thing, and it was dark outside so you can't tell who it is. If you DO mind, ignore this post.)
A small, lithe dark shadow was running to the river, seeing the cats struggling through. The first cat she saw was her former mentor- and she gasped. She ran over and grabbed the not-that-big-because-she's-still-young Badgerfang and hauled her up shore. She next saw Rainpaw and hauled the smaller apprentice to shore, and saw a white and black pelt, and lunged for the scruff and, with alot of struggling, hauled Moonfrost to shore. She stared in horror as she saw the rest of the Clan being swept off, and backed away into the trees, watching the three. I can't be seen. I'm most likely hated by now, she thought.

Rainpaw saw a flash of fur, but it was too blurry from the water in her eyes for her to tell who had saved her. She had seen the dark shape go into the trees after her eyes had adjusted. She decided her clan was a more important matter. She ran as fast as she could ahead, catching up to her currently being-whisked-away clan... How strange... she thought.

IC: Sleepystar looked behind him as his Clan was swept away. "Come, Fishy!" he cried, jumping back into the camp to the rescue.

Badgerfang spat out water and looked around. She knew that shape she had seen...It was Maypaw. She looked around, trying to find her old apprentice, but there was no sign of Maypaw anyways. Badgerfang growled to herself and looked back at the other cats. What was she going to do? She couldn't swim as well as RiverClan cats could.
