Maypaw's battle practice

"Maypaw!" Badgerfang called to her apprentice, as she sat outside the camp. "Come on, we are doing a battle practice!

As soon as Maypaw heard the word battle, she was wide awake and dashing to Badgerfang. "To the training hollow!" she meowed and raced towards it.

Badgerfang sighed, and shook her head. "This is going to be fun..." she whispered to herself as she got to her paws and followed Maypaw. As soon as she got to the training hollow she stopped. "Ok, Maypaw, you are going to learn the front paw blow first, as every apprentice does." as she spoke, she lightly hit Maypaw a few times in the side of the head with sheathed claws. "Ok, now you go."

Maypaw decided to have some fun and copied Badger, but hit her a bit harder. "Good?" she meowed.

Badgerfang nodded. "Yes, very good!" Now we do the front paw strike! You do the same as the front paw blow, but harder, and without her claws sheathed, but because we are just training, lets do it with sheathed claws." She quickly did some blows to Maypaw's head, but they were a little hard. "Ok, now you try."

Maypaw whapped the living StarClan out of Badger in the next few blows, and she laughed. "Good?" she meowed.

Badgerfang shook her head, trying to get everything to stop spinning. "Uh...yea, very good." she meowed once everything stopped spinning. "Ok, now belly rake, and remember claws are sheathed for this in training." Badgerfang quickly knocked Maypaw over and raked her sheathed paws on her belly. "Just like that." she meowed taking a step away. "Go."

Maypaw thought a bit and decided to take it from a different approach. She slid under Badgerfang, scoring her sheathed claws over her belly, and knocked down her two right legs with her hind legs on her way under. "And THAT's my way." she laughed.

Badgerfang got to her paws and nodded at Maypaw. "Very good! Now this next move I know I won't have to show you how to do it. It's call the leap and hold."

Occ: Ok, for the leap and hold you want to roll the Effect Dice. If you get a 1, 2, or 3, it works for one turn, but if you get a 4, 5, or 6, it works for two turns. You can't get hurt while using this, and damage is inflicted each turn this move is in effect!

Maypaw laughed and jumped on Badgerfang's back and held on with her fingers.

Badgerfang smiled and quickly shook Maypaw off of her back. She turned and faced her, "Ok, lets see how good you are!" Badgerfang shot toward Maypaw, and used front paw strike on Maypaw as she raced past.

Occ: Ok, so you have 12 HP and 80 Staminia, I just put your things up here. Don't put my thing up on your thing. =p We are just seeing who will run out of HP or SP first here. If you run out of HP, you lose, and if you run out of Staminia, you are tried, and I guess you can't attack anymore. Use this to find out how much damage and Staminia you do/lose.

Badgerfang used front paw strike, doing 8 damage, and using 10 Stamina

Maypaw:

Badgerfang:

Maypaw muttered something under her breath and ducked under another blow. She slid under Badgerfang's belly and raked sheathed claws across her belly and knocked her unbalanced, and whirled around and whapped her on the side of the head, pretty hard for as small as she was.

[b]Maypaw used Belly Rake, doing 7 damage and costing 10 stamina. Then she used Front Paw Strike doing 6 damage, costing 10 stamina and adding up to 13 damage. (You have like, 20 health, no?)

Badgerfang got to her paws, and then again used front paw strike on Maypaw.

Occ: No, I have 40 HP, you have 20. =p And you use one move a turn most of the time, not two.

Badgerfang used front paw strike, doing 8 damage, and using 10 Stamina

Maypaw:

Badgerfang:
37 HP/100 SP

Maypaw slid under Badgerfang, this time not knocking her over, and whirled around and jumped on her back and held.
