Just Chillin'

Dapplefern lie under the shade of a tree, finalling having quiet time. Se had been getting bigger te last few days. "I love it here!" she purred. "So beautiful!" She yawned and dozed off, dreaming of hunting plump mice.

Hope was taking a walk through the territory when he noticed noticed Dapplefern, she paded up to her and poked at her side.

She blinked awake. "Oh, hi Hope." se meowed, grogily. "Hope! What are you doing here?" She sat up, looking at the kit. "Where's your dad?" she asked, more awake this time.

Hope nuzzled up against Dapplefern and then lied down beside her purring, she didn't wan to talk about what happened to her father.

IC:"Are you okay, sweety?" she mewed, licking the top of her head. "Where's daddy?" She had wanted to talk to him since that night at FourTrees.

Hope had begun to cry.

She blink, looking at her with sympathy in her eyes.

"D-Daddy's dead, a mean blind cat with shiney gray fur killed him, She.. She ripped his throat out and left him to bleed to death!" Hope sobbed.

"Shhhhh." she mewed sympathetically. "It's okay, it's okay." She looked around. "Can I tell you a secret."

"O-ok." Hope mewed.
