The end marks a new beginning

Demonsoul layed in the clearing, unmoving other than a twitch every few minutes.

Emberfrost strolled into Highpine and saw hi mate Demonsoul. "Hello There!" he exclaimed, smiling

Demonsoul raised her head slightly and smiled when she saw him. "Hey Emberfrost."

IC: "How have you been doing?" He asking walking closer to her

Demonsoul sighed softly and then flinched out of pain. "Ive been better."

"Oh, well at least you were feeling better!" He said, trying to be optimistic. A first for him.

She laughed softly, and then slowly got to her feet, padding to nuzzle his side. "How have you been?"

"Oh just as usual, except its almost time that I move over to the Elders den" He said

She laughed softly, "I don't see any grey just yet." Demonsoul teased.

"I was always known for my beautiful fur" He raised his head in triumph.

Demonsoul smiled slightly then glanced down. "Ember, theres something I need to tell you.."

"What?' He asked

"I'm pregnant." she said, deciding on giving him the good news first, "But Im dying."

"What do you mean youre dying?" He asked, shocked.

"I-its some form of desease. No one knows where I got it from, or that is."
