Keeper of the Lockets

I ran as fast as I could. I had to get away from there. I could hear them, coming for me. What can I do? They're every where. Will I ever be free of their torture. I stop. They're gone. All is calm. That's never good! "Where are you!?" I scream. "Come out!" In the distance, there she is. Standing at about seven feet tall, she has six heads, three arms and legs and the longest tail you've ever seen. She's coming, coming for me. I yank the nekalace off my neck. I stuff it in my pocket and run for the woods. I find a pine tree. It reeks. I crouch into the roots as far as I can. She's here. I see her, the Malice Queen. She stops dead in her tracks. "I know you're here, little one!" she says in a eery, raspy voice. She sniffs the air. She walks by and is out of site. I'm Hazel Sorrson. This is how I became The Keeper of the Lockets.
