| "Thank you!" Honeykit mewed, as he began to chew on it. The taste of mouse-flesh was so welcoming to his mouth. He liked squirrel better, but he was so hungry it didn't matter to him, whether it was a mouse, a squirrel, pheasant or even fish! |

| After finishing every single morsel from the mouse, Honeykit suddenly felt sleepy. He had been through a lot that day, and couldn't wait to just lay down in a soft warm nest. |

| Honeykit, with eyes half closed, crawled up next to Flametail and began to purr along with her.
"Thank you for bringing us here Flametail," he softly mewed in her ear. Then after a yawn, he nuzzled up closer to his newly adopted mother and whispered, "I love you." And with that he closed his eyes completely, and for the first time in a while, felt happy and safe. |
