GATHERING; September/October 2011 (one day early because Ebs is leaving. ono)

Pantherpaw could hear Badgerpaw almost shouting Icewhisker's name. I really hope they don't find out...they would be hurt so much...

"Don't mind her. She just probably wants to see our old friend. I really miss him, but I had my reasons to leave. He did raise us like a father though." he meowed, trying to tell Ebonyroot he knew without just plain out telling her.

Brightstorm padded into the clearing a few pawsteps away from the rest of her clan. She went to one of the closer spots near her scattered clan members.

Ebonyroot smiled at Badgerpaw gently, but felt her entire body flinch at the mention of Icewhisker's name. 'They don't know? Come down from StarClan and greet your kits...' She knew though they'd fine out sooner or later, as his and Featherstar's deaths were announced the last full moon. Focusing her attention back on Pantherpaw, I must admit, if she had an eyebrow she would have raised it; Until she understood that was. Her eyes widened in amusement. 'You know.' The she-cat tried to say cool, nodding the universal sign of understanding, if there was a thing. 'How?'

The tom waved his paw around, pretending to shoo a bug, but actually trying to tell her 'Later'. He understood her nod, and now turned his attention to the Great Rock.

Darkblood nodded to the apprentices and stared up at Great Rock

"Afraid?" Aspen snorted. "As if. He's just my-"
He stopped himself. "A stranger."

The silver tom was growing impatient. They needed to start sometime. Mistedstar is taking far too long.. He stepped forward. "Cats of the Clans, let the Gathering begin!" No one else spoke up.. He cleared his throat. "ThunderClan has been gifted with abundant prey and good luck, it seems." He stole a glance at Vixen. "We had a kittypet stray into our territory, and insists on staying. And before you call me soft, she is only with us until her paw wound heals.." He refrained from saying, apparently. "She will leave soon." He stepped back.

Darkblood laid down and put his head on his paws 'cause he could not see. he put his lime green cast to the side.

DuskFur sat below the highrock and looked up at Deadstar speaking. She had caught a glace at Darkblood and went over to talk, "Hello, Darkblood." she whispered, "I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry for the past problems." And she turned her head to look at the highrock once more.

IC: Silversoul padded slowly and carefully into fourtrees. She knew her way around this time, and would not make a fool of herself. She made her way to highrock by scent of her leader and joined the other deputies.
"Fine night it is."
She said before the gathering started. When her leader spoke, she prepared to challenge any cat that accused them of caring for kittypets.

Darkblood nodded "Hello, Duskpaw"

OOC: He don't know he a warrior yet.

Sleepystar took his chance and stepped forward. "RiverClan is thriving. We have many new apprentices. Badgerpaw, Sparrowpaw, Pantherpaw, Mothpaw, Swanpaw, and Cherrypaw." Sleepystar announced. "However, our beloved medicine cat Hawkpath joined StarClan recently. Darkblood and Featherheart have also joined the Elders." he mewed, his voice a little greifstricken. He decided not to tell of Rosejade's disappearance.

"Dusk Fur" she corrected him, "I'm a warrior now." she purred.

Ghoststar took her place. "ShadowClan is well. We have been blessed with a visitor from StarClan. So our medicine cat Deathberry tells me. I have kept him under a strong paw and hopefully he has listened." Ghoststar looked around wearily. "We've also gained a warrior, Mountainclaw, and an apprentice Darkpaw."

Deadstar's muscles tensed. Blessed? With a visitor from StarClan? Rubbish, I say! He held his maw tightly sealed, not wanting to cause further unrest. The ThunderClan leader's eyes gave nothing away. He gave a nod of respect to the mention of the two new warriors, and to the death of Hawkpath.
