I'm a shrike! :D

Hawkkit had watched from the entrance of the nursery, her ice colored eyes watching every movement. Sneaking up behind Ghoststar, she pounced on her mother's tail with a battle cry. "Pleeeaaassseee?" She merrowed.

Ghoststar stared down at Spiritkit. "It's you're call." she spoke softly.

Spiritkit looked down, "I-I wouldn't m-mind..."

Shrikekit squeaked with happiness. "Don't worry. We'll take care of her." he purred.

Spiritkit looked up at her brother.

Ghoststar smiled. "I'll hold you to that. Don't break her."

Shrikekit, too young to get sayings and humor, tilted his head in confusion. He then brought his sister to the group.

Scarletkit crouched down, lashing her tail side to side. "What game can Spiritkit play?" she asked, her eyes glancing around for an idea.

Spiritkit looked uneasy. She was much smaller than the rest of the kits. She hadn't grown much since she was born. She shrugged at Scarletkit. Spiritkit hadn't played very many games since her siblings had out grown her.

ic: Scarletkit gave a cattish smile. "Hmmmm... can you play Chase, or are you too slow?"

Spiritkit shrugged toward her adopted sister. "I-I don't know..."

Scarletkit began to run. "Let's see.. come at me!" she said, turning to look at her.

Dreamingkit heard the noise and looked over at them, running up to the group. "Can I play too?"

Shrikekit frowned. "I'll shred you if you hurt her." he squeaked.

Scarletkit lowered herself down as he spoke. "Come on, Spiritkit!" she called loudly.
