Firepaw's Battle Training

Fallensoul hopped down from a tree, and onto a rock. It was chilly under his paws, but he was now used to it, having been in the Dark Forest for many moons. He waited for Firepaw to appear, to teach her battle lessons.

Firepaw appeared in front of him, blinking in confusion. She looked up and saw Fallensoul standing over her on the rock. She leapt to her paws and purred in excitement. She hadn't been here in a while. Firepaw dipped her head to Fallensoul. "Father." she purred.

Fallensoul's whiskers twitched in delight. "Firepaw. I have some training in store for you, if you're ready," he explained.

"Oh, I'm ready." Firepaw grinned. "What's first?" she asked.

OOC: Just for the record, this won't be doing actual damage to Fire. xD

"Normally," Fallensoul began, "You would start with the Front paw Blow. But that's a move even a kit can do." He sniffed, thinking about how weakly Featherstar had taught him.
She didn't even unsheathe her claws.
"So, we'll start with the Front paw Strike. I'll try not to hurt you too bad." He tensed his leg muscles, and sprang at his daughter.

Fallensoul preformed the Front paw Strike, dealing 10 Damage and costing 5 Stamina.

He hopped off of Firepaw and gestured with a flick of his muzzle. "Now you try."

Firepaw recovered quickly, and sprang at her father, copying pretty much exactly. "Was that good?" she asked, backing away.

Firepaw used Front paw Strike, dealing 6 Damage and costing 5 Stamina.

"Yes," he replied, and prepared for the next move. "Now, for the Belly Rake." He unsheathed his claws.

Fallensoul preformed the Belly Rake, dealing 10 Damage and costing 10 Stamina.

Fallensoul let Firepaw go, not having hurt her fatally, but enought to show the power of the move. "Go on."

Firepaw unsheathed her claws as well, and slid under him, slicing through his belly fur and into his flesh.

Firepaw Belly Rake, dealing 7 Damage and costing 10 Stamina.

Fallensoul shook her off, and gave a nod. "Now, try this." He leaped his daughter and snagged his claws to her back.

Fallensoul used Leap-and-Hold, dealing 9 Damage and costing 10 Stamina.

He darted off and waited.

Firepaw used Leap-and-Hold, dealing 6 Damage and costing 10 Stamina.

"So," she said, hopping off of his back, "how am I doing so far?

Fallensoul's yellow-stained teeth flashed in a grin. "I am more proud of you than any other of my kits," he purred, then his tail thrashed and he stood. "But that was not the final move, my dear." His eyes gleamed. "The Killing Bite is." He sprang at Firepaw.

Fallensoul used the Killing Bite, doing total damage and killing the opponent.

The white warrior sat up and licked his bloodstained lips.
