"Monster" Darkpaw said as he followed Deathberry. He wondered if the cats of the Dark Forest were somehow responsible for Ghoststar being hit, but that didn't make much sense, because dead cats couldn't control Monsters, could they?

Deathberry nodded. "Do you know if any bones were broken?" she mewed, dashing into her herb stores. She grabbed cobwebs, comfrey, and goldenrod, and contemplating backing rushes.

Deathberry nodded to herself, grabbing the rushes and binding the herbs in a beech leaf. Rushing out of camp with Darkpaw behind, she quickly approached the Thunderpath, near where Ghoststar was lying on the ShadowClan side of the Thunderpath. She saw a trail of blood leading from the ThunderClan side, where she must have been flung after the monster hit her. The dashed over to her leader, mewing, "Ghoststar? Is anything broken? Any wounds still bleeding? Show me where."
