Dustpaw Feels Ill

Dustpaw laid down in the corner of the apprentice's den and groaned. She'd been filling sick all day and didn't know why. But then she thought back to earlier that day when she had eaten a strange smelling vole. She let out a moan.
"Can someone get the medicine cat?" She cried.

ooc: I got bored lol

Hazelnut awoke hearing her groaning.Sniffing the air she smelt Dustpaw..and something else.

"Someone?" Dustpaw wailed. She felt her stomach churning at the though of having to get to her feet and retrieve the medicine cat herself. She stood and instantly collapsed. Dustpaw had a pleading look in her eyes...

"Brightpaw is not in camp" Stonestar said to Dustpaw frowning

"Ebonyroot!"the she-cat said quickly.Immediatly she raced out of camp.

Dustpaw yowled as she felt yet another stab of pain in her side.

Ebonyroot padded quickly into the camp, a bundle of herbs in her jaws. "What's wrong, Dustpaw?" she immediately asked the troubled she-cat.

"I-I don't know," she rasped.

"Did you eat something bad?" Ebonyroot pushed the question forward, she couldn't help until she knew exactly what the problem was. ARE YOU PREGGERZ? D:

"I think so," Dustpaw nodded.

ooc: No I am not preggerz XD

Ebonyroot sat the small apprentice down and felt her belly, "If it's causing such a sharp pain, it must not be digesting right..." she muttered to herself, pulling out a few pale leaves. "This is Yarrow, eat it... It'll get what's troubling you out..."

Dustpaw looked at the leaves then quickly ate them.

Ebonyroot nodded and quickly grabbed a few pieces of dock, setting them down in front of Dustpaw. It'd make things easier to... ahem, clean up.

Dustpaw's throat convulsed. A moment later she vomited.

Ebonyroot purred. No one ever said a medicine cats' work was pretty. She scanned the remains, seeing the mangled body of what seemed to be an old vole. "Feeling better?"
