Pebblepaw gazed across the icy river that snaked along the edge of RiverClan territory over at the thick clump of woods located close enough so its blurry reflection was visible in the water. This was her favorite place to go when things back at the RiverClan camp were too loud, or when she just wanted to have some space and think. Suddenly, the hairs on her neck pricked up, and she sensed a presence in her wake. Pebblepaw whipped around, hackles tensed, claws unsheathed, heart racing. But all she caught was a glimpse of a striped tail disappearing behind a patch of marshy weeds. She bounded swiftly over to the weeds, but there was no one there. The mysterious cat~or was it a cat?~had vanished.

Shinepaw sat beside Metalpaw, watching the Riverclan cats. "Riverclan!" She hissed. "Fox hearted mouse brains!" Then she saw Pebblepaw jump, and saw the shape of a cat. What was that? She wondered.

Pebblepaw heard a commotion behind her and spun to see a pair of ThunderClan cats gazing intently at her from across the river and whispering. "How kittish!" the smaller one~she thought her name was Shinepaw~teased in delight. Pebblepaw felt her face grow hot, and she turned away in embarrassment. OOC: What the hell? Why's everyone so fangirly about Sleepy? O.o
