Playing around

Envykit hopped onto a butterfly and clawed its wings with his small sharp claws. "Haha, take that!" he mewed in a soft, squeeky voice. Keeping the butterfly hostage he padded around the now flightless insect.

Nightpaw walked into the nursery with some moss in his jaws, He had decided to help around the camp a bit. Nightpaw stopped and set down the moss,"Caught a butterfly?" He walked up to Envykit,"Your going to be a great hunter for sure!"

Envykit puffed out his chest and smiled "I'm going to be Skyclans best hunter!" he bosted in a squeeky voice.

Dustkit, ran over, she had overheard the conversation.
"You're going to be the best hunter?" She scoffed. "No way! I am!"

Coldglance laughed at the kits,"How do you now it's not Nightpaw?"he asked.

Nightpaw looked at Coldglance,"Well, i couldn't catch a butterfly very well so...." Nightpaw thought back to the times he tried to catch a simple butterfly,"I think I would do better with larger targets."

Envykit stood up his legs were long and slim, he was as tall as an apprentice. He flicked his huge ears. "I'm going to be the best hunter because my father is Bumblepaw!" he said. Envykit sat in a hunting postition and pounced onto Dustkit with perfect form. "I can even cats Dustkit!" he bosted.

Bumblepaw laughed at his boasting kit,"You will be a great hunter,better than a few of our past warriors".

Snakekit padded into the clearing. He had been named this because of the color of his pelt. He padded towards his brother and gave a small smile."hello envykit".

Dustkit let out a mock growl. "You couldn't catch a fly, Envykit!" She joked, her tail swishy from side to side.

Envykit narrow his eyes. A buzzing in his ear was all he needed. With the swipe of a paw he had a fly caught on him claws. "Oh yeah, then whats this." he mewed.

"A bug," Dustkit hissed.

Nightpaw stepped inbatween the two kits,"You two are clanmates, so what if some of us have better skills in some areas, We work together as one!" He looked at Dustkit,"And I'll be getting a new denmate soon enough."

Dustkit's eyes lit up. "That's right, I'm going to be an apprentice!"

"Brother, they are just jellos of us because we are Bumblepaws kits!" He sat by Snakekit with his head held high.

"Untrue!" Dustkit growled, her tail swishing side to side angrily.
