Nightpaw and the tree

"Oh... S-sorry Deathowl." She meowed, feeling a little strange in the presence of a Starclan cat. The only other she had seen was her mother and that was in a dream back in her days as an apprentice.

"Every cat makes mistakes of every sizes in their lives...." She meows while padding a little ways away.Nightpaw was just standing there in some sort of awe.

OCC: heh, Sure....Starclan cat.

OOC: Well as far as Shadow knows she's Starclan ^^; Poor, poor confused shadow~

Shadowsong blinked at the figure of Deathowl in front of her as she still tried to comprehend what exactly was going on. "W-wait, Deathowl. What are you doing here?" She asked as politely as she could.

"I was wondering what a young apprentice was doing alone..." She paused, looking at Nightpaw,"...Especially where I died..."

Nightpaw tilted his head,"You....Died at High Pine?"

Suddenly, her feeling of being honored to be in the presence of this cat was fading. Something wasn't right, but she couldn't figure out what it was. "I am very sorry for your death, but you are living a better life now, correct?"

Deathowl shook her head,"life in the forest is horrible....I wish I had chosen a better path...."

"Oh..." Her voice trailed off as she heard the deceased she-cat speak. "I'm sorry that you don't like living in the forest."

Deathowl gave a small chuckle and faded away,"Nightpaw...Do what clan cats do...." Her last words echoed slightly.

Nightpaw looked confused,"Do....What?" He looked at Shadowsong.

Shadowsong cocked her head to the side at the she-cat's words. What exactly did she mean by this? Cautiously the Shadowclan queen turned back to face Nightpaw. "Well, you better be headed back to camp. Apprentices shouldn't be out wandering by themselves."

Nightpaw knew to listen to his elders, but a shadowclan cat? He dipped his head,"Goodbye. Hope to see you at a gathering or something." Nightpaw ran off into the brush.
