By the River

Metalshard shiffted around in pain, more and more blood poured from her. Soon she would die.
"Shinepaw....help me... cobwebs." she mewed in distress. She flailed her paws and gritted her teeth "Dragonsoul...Dragonsoul....no..don't take me.." she wispered. "Bumblepaw, why did you do it..." she was in much pain and her mind was racing. "Sootpelt, I'm sorry, Sootpelt.." she swung her head from side to side. "I never wanted that, none of this.....never." her breath was shallow "Never..give up..never.." she breath stoped and she was still.

Pinestar stared at her. She paid no attention to the rambling cat that was left unattended on the ground. "Only if you promise never to leave unless it's necessary," she said.

"I will never leave RiverClan's side."
She promised.

Pinestar dipped her head. "Alright. We will gladly take you in."

ic- Suddently she yowled in pain, the birds all around her scattered. Only a few words were fully autoable "Dragonsoul....I..can't!" She let out a ear splitting screech before driffting into a heavy pant.

Pinestar gave a hiss. "Deadfrost! Get her out of here! She's making it hard to think and she's blurting out nonsense!"

IC: Her attention flicked to the dying she-cat. She felt like ignoring her. If Metalshard died, her life would be much easier and would prove that non Clanborn cats could not survive. But every instinct inside her begged to help her. It went against everything she knew toi just stand by and listen as this cat died. She deserves this. It was her own fault for fighting a battle she could not win. Her mind raced.
No cat deserves a slow, painful death like this... But it's her own fault! But I can't just let her die....
A soft, silk-like voice echoed in her head.
You must save her, Silverpaw. You know it. Sunset's words buzzed her. She felt compassion surge through her.
"Pinestar."
She said, her voice suprisingly calm.
"We must help her. No cat deserves a slow, painful death, no matter how wretched thay are."

Pinestar looked at her. "What are we supposed to do about it? There aren't any medicine cats around."

Tears begin to drip from Metalshards closed eyes as rapidly as the blood. "I'm sorry!" she yowled. "So sorry.....Riverclan...sorry...please...forgive me." she panted and began to slow down her words grew into soft whispers. Dragonsoul appeared in front of Pinestar "That cat is asking your forgiveness, Pinestar, she will be close do death soon, but I have seen her truth heart, you can not let her die, you must help her." she mewed in a warm voice. "I know Riverclan wouldn't let a cat suffer like that, Bluestar wouldn't." she added.

Pinestar shouldered past the StarClan cat hesitantly. She dippped down to pick up the cat. "C'mon. We don't have all day," she persisted. They had to get her to a medicine cat.

The wind blew by and Dragonsoul was gone. She trusted that Metalshard was in good paws now. Meanwhile Metalshard grew more and more limp as the Riverclan cats dragged her away. She mumbled things every now and them. "Don't let me die, help, Shinepaw, cobwebs."

Cobwebs.
"I'll be right back, Pinestar. I know what will help."
Marygold and cobwebs, Silverpaw Sunset's voice said. Where did she find marygold? Slipping away, she found a small hole closed up by thick cobwebs. Wrapping them around her paw, she scented the air. Marygold, on the other side of the river. But she was RiverClan. She couldn't cross!
Cobwebs will do.
She sped back quickly, tracking them by scent.
"These should help."
She said.

"Poppy seeds make the pain go away, Shinepaw!" she laughed as if she was enjoying a wonderfull memorie. It seemed as though she was watching the moments of her life.
