SC and RC Plot: Ghosthaze talks to Pinestar

OOC: Should I be making this topic yet???

Ghosthaze sighed before going to Pinestar's den. "Ahem. Pinestar. We have a few things to talk about. May I come in?" she called.

ooc: Ohai. Sorry for absense :O

Pinestar looked up. "Hm? Oh, of course, Ghosthaze," she purred. "What is it?"

"I am thankful you let our clan stay here as long as we have but I think it is time we take our leave. The problem is I don't know if the badgers are gone so I was wondering if you would let a few warriors come back with us, just in case." Ghosthaze told her.

Pinestar nodded, deep in thought. Her blue gaze seemed to stray away from Ghosthaze's eyes. Why is Ghosthaze substituting for Bramblestar? Where is he anyway? She quickly snapped her gaze back to the cat. "Of course. I don't mind at all," she purred. "I hope the badgers have cleared out. I'll be glad to have my Clan assist ShadowClan in the rebuilding of its camp, too," she offered.

"I speak for the entire clan when I say we'd be in your debt." Ghosthaze nodded her head in respect.

Pinestar purred. "When will you be parting? I'll need to get my warriors ready," she meowed.

Ghosthaze thought a moment. "When Bramblestar comes back." she told her.

"I don't mean to be nosy," she said a couple heartbeats after, "but where has he gone?"

Ghosthaze sighed and shrugged. "I have no idea to be honest."

Pinestar couldn't help but chuckle. "Alright then," she purred. "It was nice speaking to you. Anything else that can be brought to my attention?"

Ghosthaze looked down. "Well... I probably will hang back here when they leave to scout the camp to make sure the badgers have gone."

Pinestar nodded. "Not a fan of badgers, are we?" she laughed heartily. She curled her tail around her paws and gave a warm smile. "That's fine."

"Oh no. It's nothing like that. It's just if there are badgers there and I can't get away in time I may kill the kits I am expecting." she mewed softly.

Pinestar's ears shot up. "You're expecting kits?" she echoed. "I had no idea! Well congratulations to you and.. er... the father." She could tell Ghosthaze was getting uncomfortable with the topic.
