Taking Stormkit to Thunderclan

Shadowsong carefully padded up to the Thunderpath, her sad gaze staring across into Thunderclan territory. She turned her head to look back at her kit. "Come on, Stormkit." She meowed sorrowfully.

"ok"he said softly "bye" he waved goodbye to his mother he crossed the border he took one final look he then turned away and mewed "hello?" he mewed softly

Leaves sounded from above as Metalpaw gently jumped onto the kit. She was carefull for it was a kit. She pinned him down with one paw. "What are you doing here, Shadowclan kit, are you sneeking out of camp again?"

"Here's another question," a voice sounded out. It sounded annoyed. And there appeared Deadfrost. "Metalpaw. What are you doing out of camp again?" He was to say more, but then he saw the ShadowClan cats. He narrowed his eyes.

Shadowsong ran to the edge of the Thunderpath and hissed at the Thunderclan cats for she could somewhat see them through the trees. "Don't you dare hurt my dear kit!"

He blinked. How odd was this? Were ShadowClan giving up a kit?
"Dear StarClan, how cruel can you get?" he growled back. "Giving up your own kit."

She glared at Deadfrost but it was only half-hearted. She then moved her gaze to the ground. "I wouldn't be doing this if I could take care of him. I just can't... And I know that this is what Starclan would want. Better for him to have a good life in Thunderclan than to have a terrible one in Shadowclan."

He held a thoughtful stare with a bush, then sighed. "Whatever. But Leopardheart won't like it one bit." He swept Stormkit in his camp's direction with his tail.

"I'm on a potrol with Snowclaw." Metalpaw mewed. "But I'm not really sure where she is, I was following her sent when I saw Shadowclan, so I climbed up the tree." She walked behind the kit, following Deadfrost.

"Thank you," She mewed, turning away to go back to her own camp. As she padded away, she glanced back regretfully, but continued on her way.

he looked at the warrior "why? is she going to hurt me?!"he panicked

"Of corses not!" Metalpaw mewed "Thunderclan cats are kind, we woun't hurt you." she spoke in a tender tone. "Leopardheart is just doing her job."

Snowclaw padded out of the shadows."Metalpaw! What did I tell you about running-" she mewed,then she seen Stormkit."Hello there" she mewed

"Hey guys! Who's this?" Dapplepaw mewed, dropping the mouse she had in her mouth. "Hi there, little one."

Deadfrost frowned. "Do me a favour, Metalpaw and Dapplepaw, and go back to camp before I explode. Give the mouse to Goldenstar," he ordered irritably. "This is none of your concern."
