MC Needed please!

Mountainkit padded outside of the nursery to get something from the fresh-kill pile when he stepped on a thorn. "Ow!" he hissed. Mountainkit limped back over the nursery, trying not to step on the paw with a thorn in it, so he could tell a queen.

Ebonyroot stepped out of the nursery, the fresh scent of borage leaves on her paws and muzzle. The medicine cat saw Mountainkit limping over. "Hey, what's up?" she meowed.

"I got a thorn in my paw," Mountainkit mewed. "could you get it out?" mewed Mountainkit as he limped over to Ebonyroot.

"Oh, let me see your paw.." She replied softly.

"Ok," mewed Mountainkit as he held out his paw for Ebonyroot.

"Ouch. That looks like it hurt, where did you head off too?" Ebonyroot said quietly, a childish ring to her voice. "Wait here, I need to get something. Don't move, we don't want it in deeper do we?" She teased and padded of into her den.

"I was just trying to get something from the fresh-kill pile," Mountainkit called to Ebonyroot as she padded towards her den.

Ebonyroot couldn't answer until she came back from her den, a small stand of horsetail in her jaws, a little wad of cobweb hanging at the end.
She set it all down and inspected Mountainkit's sensitive pink paws. "Alright, this will hurt for just a second..."

With a quick bite on the thorn, it stepped was yanked out quickly. "A little better?" she asked, chewing up the horsetail and placing it gently on the kit's paw.

"Yeah, thanks," Mountainkit happily mewed. Mountainkit grabbed a small mouse from the fresh-kill pile and padded back into the nursery.

The she-cat wrapped his paw in cobweb, so it wouldn't get dirty. "You're welcome." Ebonyroot replied as he padded off, "Try to be more careful from now on!"
She padded back into her den. She'd have to tell the apprentices to sweep the camp for thorns later on.
