"Everyone with purely dark hearts come here!" she called. She meant the cats who were purely dark to begin with. A good amount of cats stepped forward, including a kit. "The rest of you...kill each other." She looked at the kit. Maybe she'd raise the dark gray tabby..."I name you Darkkit. You will be raised by me from now on. Stay close to me. You others, go to the palace and await Tigerstar's orders."

Tigerstar was impressed. "Very good!" she shouted over the sound of tearing flesh and screams of pain. After it was finished, she sat down to eat a very fat cat. "Come join me, Firepaw! Its very delicious!" The winner of the battle was standing there, pantingand bleeding profusly. The medicine cat, who had had a dark heart, rushed up to help him, but Tigerstar held him back. "You! Do you wish to die?" "N-n-no, my lord..." "Good boy... Lock him in the dungeons for a week. Bring him to the torture from every day untill then. I'll teach him his manners... Which cats are your parents, boy?" "Them..." he said as he saw two gray cats, lying on the ground. "Son..." one whispered, then died. "Mother!" he yelled, and tried to run to her, but Firepaw held him back. "NO!" he cried, as he was dragged to the dungeon. He was given some sort of meat the next moment. He ate all of it and when he was finished, Tigerstar came in. "How was it? That was your parents, Stonefang and Graystorm." He let out a cry and sat in the corner, sobbing. The next hour, he was taken to the torture room and Tigerstar whiped him. The same happened over and over for a week.

"Very torturous, Tigerstar." Firepaw said, her kit by her side. She took a bite of Darkkit's parents, and the kit did the same. Firepaw noticed the young kit looked up to her, without clouded visions. The kit was normal, but followed her. "This is my kit, Darkkit." she said. The kit nodded and began to eat with Firepaw.

"Indeed. She is worthy of your teachings. Show her how to kill and torture. Me and my kit will come with you."

Firepaw nodded. "Come, Darkkit. I will show you the palace first, then teach you torture." she said. She led the kit through the dark palace and then showed her the torture chambers.

As they followed, Orangekit was intregued by the castle. She loved the torture room with all the instaments of torture. She saw pelts on a table, sitting out to dry. "Was that my momy's fur?" she asked as she saw an orange and black stripeed pelt. "No silly, im your mom! Are you cold?" she wraped Orangekit up in her once-mother's fur and laughed.

Firepaw talked about all the torture instruments, and Darkkit smiled evilly the whole time. He was loving the palace. You're doing great. Firepaw mind-messaged him. I'd be glad to call you brother or something...Darkkit agreed, liking the palace even more.

"Now. Lets all go check how our prisoner is doing..."

Firepaw and Darkkit followed Tigerstar to check on the prisoner.

He sat huddled in the corner, coat dull and eyes blank. "Are you ready to join us?" she asked. "Yes, my lady." He said, finally sounding evil. "Then come, prove your worth." He was shown his brother straped into the torture machine. "Push this button." she commanded him. He pushed it without hesitation and did not flinch when he heard his brother scream in pain. He kept doing this until his brother joined them. "Good..." she murmured.

Firepaw and Darkkit watched. "Maybe you'd like to watch your kin next, if there are any left?" she asked Darkkit. "You are my only kin, Firepaw." he replied. Firepaw smiled and nodded. "And judging from what I made your old friends do, I'd think there are no survivors of your kin, except me."

"There is one, Firepaw..." said the gray tom, Silverspark. "The clan leader is her uncle."

"The last survivor..." Firepaw mumbled. "Bring him in! Darkkit will torture him until he has no lives left in his body." Darkkit only smiled. "He was a no good leader, anyway. Tigerstar and you are more fit to lead."

"Indeed..." The cat was brought in. His name was Blackstar. "Why me?" He yowled. "I have a dark heart!" "It is true, he steped up when you called the cats with dark hearts... It's your decision, Darkkit..."

"I will torture him until he dies." Darkkit said. "His heart is not dark, it is soft. It may be dark, but it is soft enough to house a kittypet!" He strapped him to a torture machine and tortured him until he had no lives left.
