"Why momma?"Firekit sobbed,"Why are you leaving me?!"Firekit ran towards her mom,and grabbed on.Firekits mom snarled at her."You know why you mouse-dung!"Firekits mom bit her hard on the neck and picked the kit up,then snarled "I oughta kill you now!"Firekit looked up at her mom with horror."W-why"Firekits mom let her down hard making Firekit fall with a thud.Firekits mom meowed."Because you are a pain,and I only kept you to have fun."Firekits mom then walked away.because you are a painThe words echoed through Firekits head and she curled up in a ball and began to sob loudly,the blood from her ear trickling down her face.

Icepaw was out walking by when she heard a kit cry and she ran over to it.Icepaw saw a kit curled up in a ball that was bleeding.Icepaw ran over and inspected the kit.she is still alive,but who would do this to a kit.Icepaw went over to the kit and picked her up in her mouth,and meowed muffled by fur."Don't worry little one I will help you."Icepaw then ran back to riverclan camp.
