| Here is a special edition book review! If you haven't read the series, and plan to, do not open this spoiler! - Spoiler:
Okay, this is basically a book series revolving around the country Panem, and the cruel government who puts children in a battle to the death for amusement, in which only one would win. Now, these are the categories in which I will rate:
Story This has a great storyline. Honestly, I could never think up something so brilliant. The story is narrarated by Katniss Everdeen, a 16 (17 later in the books) year old girl living in District 12, one of the districts on Panem. The Capitol of Panem, led by the evil President Snow, hosts a yearly reality show, called the Hunger Games, in which puts two kids from each district, 12 to 18, into an arena to fight to the death. It is horrible, but there is nothing they can do. Anyhow, Prim, Katniss' sister, is picked to be a tribute of the Hunger Games, though, Katniss takes her place. This makes her a popular face, along with Peeta Mellark, and they are put in a fake love story, in which is ruled out by President Snow. Anyhow, one thing leads to another, and a rebellion starts against the Capitol.
Though, I hate the end. F*ck Peeta, Gale is the sh*t. And most fans would agree. Collins, making Katniss choose Peeta made the whole thing horrible. So, the story gets a 9.1
Characters This story has a lot of characters, but nevertheless, I loved and hated which characters Collins wanted me to. Now that's good writing!
Characters gets a 9.5
Overall Okay, well, with these two categories, I already have the overall rating. I just frankly loved this, except for the end. But no matter, I'm not going to count that much (It only deducted .9 points .3.). It's just, I loved the end of each chapter, for the author could leave you wanting more so well. These books made me laugh, cry, stare blankly into the air for a couple of minutes, and throw the book down in impending rage. Collins has done a rare thing, and made a book series that will keep people talking long after it's end. And that, to me, is all I ask for in a series. Thank you for your amazing work, Miss Suzanne Collins. I give your books an overall rating of 9.8
Also, I have an odd feeling the end of the book suggested a sequel...o3o' Idk, maybe with Katniss and Peeta's children (WHO SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN MADE >:C)
Anyhow, I will go back to video games on ym next review. But until then, Jay-Dizzle Out! \/>.o>

| That's because the name Peeta Mellark sounds more like a calm, kind of sensitive and Gale Hawthorne is a name that sounds like it's ready to kick some butt! XD - Spoiler:
But in my opinion, Gale never truly liked Katniss anyway. like.. he did at one point, but it went downhill from there.. o.o

| I had to wait months for Hunger Games, months for Catching Fire, and then after a LONG time I finally saw Mockingjay just as someone was pulling it off the shelf. I had to fight her for it, it made quite an awkward scene. ______________________________________ ‹‹ former site administrator ›› pm me |
