Bringing the Kits

Fallensoul nudged the two kits along. "Come on, Featherstar is waiting," he whispered, continuing to walk.

"Is Featherstar the leader of WindClan?" Icekit asked his father as he was nudged forward.

"Yes," he replied flatly. "She is my mother. Deadfrost of ThunderClan is my father."

"Oh cool...so that would make her our...grandmother? Right?" he asked in a rather happy tone.

Fallensoul laughed. "Yeah, but she's not old. Neither is my father."

Firekit padded tiredly behind them. "I`m tired, Fallensoul." she mewled. "Can we stop for a while??" she asked unhappily.

Icekit looked back at his sister.

"Come on!" he encouraged her," I'll race you, or are you too afraid I'll win?" he taunted. He was in a good mood after finding out his grandmother was leader, even though he was apart from his mother. He winced at the thought but smiled at his sister in a taunting way.

"You won`t win!!" Firekit mewed playfully, batting at his ears. "You`re too much of a slow slug!!" she giggled, and raced off ahead without letting him get a chance to call a start. "Can`t catch me!!" she yowled over her shoulder, speeding along the grass.

Icekit followed his sister along, only soon enough to catch up and soon pass her without even getting tired. He laughed as he passed Firekit and rushed forward only to stop dead. There was a bush, with red berries all over it. The sun beamed down on them making them shine. He looked at them for a second before turning back to his father.

"What are these?" he asked.

OOC: A bush of DEATHBERRIES! The 2nd deadliest thing he's seen...no offense Deadly...

Firekit dashed past him, but then turned back to see the bush with red berries. She ran over to it. "What are those things??" she asked.

OOC: Let's let Daddy answer that! XD

Featherstar padded lithely out of a clump of heather. She had been watching her son bring his kits along the moorland. The moment she smelt ShadowClan she darted out of camp, only to find her son and his daughter and son. "Those are death berries, and are not to be eaten." She said sternly to both of them, sweeping them away from the bush with her tail. She looked young, yes, but it was the swimming wisdom in her eyes is what made her look as old as the forest itself.

Fallensoul whisked the kits away from the yew bush. "Mind your manners, please." He looked at his mother. "These are our new members."

"Hi!!" Firekit bounced around Featherstar. "I`m Firekit, and this is my annoying brother Icekit." she mewled, nudging her brother with her shoulder.
