TO THE HUNT!!

Mistpelt padded around the RiverClan camp, wanting to get together a hunting patrol.

Featherpaw eagerly bounced out of her den at the sight of mistpelt.''Whatcha doin'? hunting patrol? Why I'd love to thanks for asking.oh,you didn't....well why not?''She purred. she seemed happier than usual.

"May I come?" Bluepaw asked cooly. Sounding like water compared to Featherpaw's firy air.

"Well, because I didn't get a chance to." Mistpelt joked, responding to Featherpaw. "You can both come. Where would you two like to hunt?"

''Sorry Mist i'm gonna be a warrior soon and im very excited.''Featherpaw cooled down quickly and was back to her hyper but slightly cool self.

Mistpelt looked at her coolly, "Let's head out." Seeing as though her question went unanswered, she took the patrol the the river. "Let's star-" Mistpelt began. But noticing a water vole, she took off after it.

ic~Featherpaw waited patiently for mist to return.Until she spotted something fluttering in the trees.She scrambled up the tree as fast as ever and took down a whole nest of baby birds with a dead mother and another dead bird which must be the father.

Bluepaw stood there, appalled. "Well i'll be-" She saw a small school of trour in the water. Creeping slowly up to the waters edge, she swiped, missing them all. "Mouse dung! This isn't my best hunt yet!" She spat, taking another swipe, finally catching at least one fish.

Soon after, Mistpelt came padding up with the water vole in her jaws. She set in on a rock to bring back later. "Nice catches you two." Mistpelt meowed, seeing the two birds and the fish. "I'm gonna see if I can't catch a fish..." She mewed, standing at the river's edge, peering in to the clear water.

Bluepaw stood there, watching Mistpelt's technics. She wanted to absorb all the good stuff before training ended.

She waited for a while until she saw a flash of silver in the water. Quickly, she struck out with her paw, claws unsheathed, and hooked the fish out of the water. It flopped for a second and then went still. She set in on the rock with her water vole. "I think a few more pieces of prey and we'll head back." She mewed.

Featherpaw spotted a fish and struck it quickly.She broughyt a catfish out of the water and fell backwards,got back up,and killedd it.

Bluepaw padded up to Featherpaw. She looked into the water. "Hey, guys" She mewed jokely. "I think you caught all the fish there was!"

She joked back, "well I hope we didn't, or we'll have to catch rabbits on the moor!" She made a disgusted face.

Bluepaw made the same face. "I was talking to a ShadowClan apprentice at the Gathering, and he said that rabbit tasted like rotten frog and foxdung. Ech!" She made a face. "How do they eat that stuff?!"
