Shadepaws Border Patrol

Raggedclaw stuck his head into the apprentices den. "Shadepaw!" he called.

Shadepaw's head popped up lazily at the sound of her mentors voice."Coming Raggedclaw!" She replied before walking out of the apprentices den.

"Hello Shadepaw," said Raggedclaw. "Today we will be going on your border patrol," he meowed.

"Hello." She replied still somewhat tired,but after hearing about her first border patrol,her ears perked up excitedly and she purred happily to herself."When do we start?" She purred.

"We can go now," Raggedclaw said. Walking slowly out of the camp, he checked that his apprentice was following him.

"Alright." She replied and followed Raggedclaw,staying at least three paws length away from him."So, is there anything I could know,like what to do when I see a different clan cat,or when I see a fox?" She meowed curiously,trying to start some kind of conversation with her mentor.

"Well, when you see a cat from another clan, make sure that they are on thieir side of the border. when you see a fox, dont attack it, return to camp and get a patrol," Advised Raggedclaw

Shadepaw nodded her head, showing that she was listening to Raggedclaw's advice."Is there anything else that I might need to know?" She asked, still trying to keep conversation going.

"well, im going ot show you the borders to other clans and you can learn to reconnise other clans scents," Raggedclaw said. "Now, lets go to the Thunderclan border,"

"Yes sir" she replied happily, while straightening her tail up and walking behind Raggedclaw with a playful grin on her face.

As they arrived at the Thunderclan border, raggedclaw stopped. "This is the Thunderclan border. remember this scent, this is the smell of Thunderclan. I think we should go to Fourtrees now," Suggested Raggedclaw

Shadepaw glanced over Raggedclaw and over at the Thunderclan border."It smells funny." She replied and rubbed her nose with on of her paws, hoping to clear away some of the smell.
