Demon's Hunting Patrol with Lilac

"Who said I was complaining?" Demonpaw asked, tightening her legs.

Lilacbreezes eyes snapped in place with her apprentince. Her purple eyes looked deep into Demonpaws it seemed as though she was staring deep and into her soul. And in some strange way she was, sorta. A flash back of Midnightpelt came flashing back to her, so strong she stumbled backwards. Her expression was hurt and her hairs were sticking straight up.

"Lilacbreeze," Demonpaw said, instantly coming out of her position and to her mentors side, "Whats wrong?"

She shook her head and a smile returned, however it looked forced. "So... uh tell me what you smell." She mewed stiffly.

Demonpaw opened her mouth and breathed. She shook her pelt slightly. "I smell lizard, a mouse, and a snake." she said, "But we can't goo by the mouse, since the snake is by it."

Lilacbreeze looked at Demonpaw and nodded. A strong feeling washed over her it was similar to the snake she had ran into her first hunting patrol. "Very good, now lead me to the closest prey. But quietly so they don't hear us and stay down wind." she mewed matter-of-factly. She licked her black paw and eyed her apprentice.

Demonpaw nodded and shot off towards a lirard.

Lilacbreeze followed her taking long powerfull strides after her apprentice.

Soon, a lizard appeared on a fallen log and Demonpaw stopped. She inclined her head towards the lizard.

Lilacbreeze's eyes were locked on the lizard her eyes darting back and forth. She nodded at Demonpaw to pounce before the lizard would scurry away.

OOC: Here we go, off the kill the lizard.

Demonpaw dropped down into her hunting pounce, it perfect. She quickly pounced at it, catching it between her claws just before it could run.

Lilacbreeze narrowed her purple eyes. "Very good..." she mewed, somewhat spaced. She grinned smally and turned around she hissed and pounced on a snake approaching them. It died quickly under her black paws and Lilacbreeze flung it off by Demonpaw. "That thing was following us." She hissed with disgust and licked her bloody paws.

Demonpaw shrugged. "I'd rather it be a snake than a badger."

Lilacbreeze nodded. "Thats true." she mewed quietly.

Demonpaw shook her head and almost collapsed as a thought creeped into her mind. "Oh starclan.."
