Ready for blood

Leopardheart sat by the river, chewing on the fat vole she'd caught. She was on guard duty today.

Angelclaw walked up to the Leopardheart. "Hi," she mewed, feeling sad.

Leopardheart flicked her ear. "You want some vole?"

"I-Uh-No thanks, I'm not feeling great," Angelclaw sighed, looking at the vole.

Leopardheart began licking the blood out of her claws. "Riverclan...weaklings..." she muttered.

Angelclaw nodded. "I-I need to tell you something," she mewed shyly.

"Sure," Leopardheart meowed. "What is it?"

"Well, I have memories of fighting, and I'm the one that seems evil in them," she explained, then paused uncomfortably, "And my friends tell me that I attacked them."

Leopardheart stepped back as if she'd been struck. "Are you sure.....that...you attack people and don't remember...?"

"Yeah, I'm sure, and I only have faint memories. And I always have the salty taste of blood in my mouth when I wake up," she mewed, desprate for advice.

Leopardheart looked shocked. "No...Starclan....no....not another one!"

Angelclaw looked at Leopardheart, shocked. "Another one? What am I?" Angelclaw asked, fearing that she was something bad.

Leopardheart took a deep breath and looked at Angelclaw. "The same thing happened to me."

"W-What? Tell me more," Angelclaw asked, looking deeply into the deputys eyes.

Leopardheart looked away. "When I just became deputy....I was still foolish. I wanted strength and power to defend my clan. So.....I made a pact with cats of the Dark Forest. They would give me strength and the ability to walk in both Starclan and The Dark Forest in my dreams. They were so convincing.....and I told them they could have anything in return. So they began possessing me. I attacked my friends, my enemies, everyone. My vision was always hazy and seemed to be filled with a red mist. It wasn't until a couple of my warrior "killed" me in my dream that the evil thing left. Now, I still can walk in the Dark Forest, but the evil has gone."
